We dont get auroras as often as folks on Iceland or north of Norway but now whit Sun approching is activity peak, auroras become more active and we can see it quite often here.

There is no intervals between exposures, frames are shot one by one using coninuous shutter function of camera (as for sport shooting but with exposures set to 8sec each), so I didn't even use intervalometer, I have just locked cable shutter release. I didn't use dark frames, all noise is suppresed in Lightroom.

Hi. For most of my shots I use ISO 1600 or 3200 depends which of my cameras I am using. I always shoot with aperture wide open which is f/2.8 or f/3.5 depends what lens I am using. Shutter speed depends on a subject, for auroras I use 8 seconds with f/2.8 and ISO3200 or 20 sec. with f/3.5 and ISO 1600 but aurora must be quite bright, at least visible to the naked eye. For Milky Way shots I use as high ISO and as long exposure as I can to catch as much detail as possible.

Sure, each frame was exposed for 8 sec. with ISO 3200 and lens aperture set to f/2.8. All frames were shot in RAW and later postprocessed in Adobe Lightroom 4.3 and LRTimelapse software. Equipment used, Canon 7D with 10mm Sigma diagonal fisheye lens.

Yes, I know but these are just sample clips. I will assemble some short movie out off these clips with music soon ... I hope :).

I have used 10mm Sigma diagonal fisheye and later I have removed distortions in postprocessing to eliminate barrel effect caused by fisheye lens.
