The Aurora DSP Rhino 1.7 is a powerful guitar plugin that offers a wide range of tones, from delicate and clean melodies to heavy, wall-of-sound textures that can fill an entire mix. Here’s a summary of its key features:
Input Section:
Includes a gate, gain knob, three different signal characteristics, and a high-pass filter. Expanded options allow you to adjust the gate’s attack and release times, select the low-pass filter’s slope, and choose between different input signal characteristics.
Preamp Section:
Features four drive models, four effects, and a tone stack. You can add screaming input gain, tighten the sound without changing gain using “BRUTE,” and control dynamics with “PUSH.” Mix the entire preamp section to achieve your desired tone.
EQ Section:
A four-band fully adjustable graphic equalizer. Includes a tone matching feature with three presets for matching your tone to popular contours.
PWR / IR Section:
Power amp subsection with three tone characters. IR panel for real-time mixing of four different impulse responses (IRs). You can use custom Rhino IRs or import your favorite IRs.
MOD FX Section:
Flanger, chorus, and phaser effects. Fully adjustable and synchronizable.
Time FX Section:
Echo, delay, and two reverbs (algorithmic and convolution). Choose from three types of delay and explore custom IRs prepared for Rhino’s convolution reverb.
Output Section:
Includes a low-end dynamics controller, limiter, and fader.

That tone sounds great, for the mix… but if I was trying to ab that and a 5150iii first thing I listen for is that top end sizzle… this tune is dope though

@@neonblack612 Thank you for your comment! Yeah, this thing has a lot of that top end sizzle, not only that, it has a strong pick attack detail. Sorry, I used a filter to tame those high frequencies.

@@rauloliveiragt never feel sorry.. your tone is great.. and the song is good. Just wanted to point out that if you wanted to showcase a 515x/615x tone, not sure it hits the mark, this coulda been any amp in the clip … that top end is the defining feature of that amp family. That being said dude, if you were mixing a metal album I’ll hire you
