Thanks Steven for the review, the pen is just to expensive even though it's nice.🇦🇺

One thing I'm really curious about is if golden plated Aurora's nibs have different elasticity compared with rodium plated
@sajjadhusain41468 ай бұрын
I have several of both the gold plated and rhodium plated 14k/18k Aurora gold nibs. To summarize, in my experience, the 14k nibs somehow feel very slightly softer (less stiff) than the 18k. And Aurora’s standard gold plated nibs likewise just a little ‘smoother’ than the rhodium plated ones. Aurora’s older (late 80s-mid-90s) gold nibs with the long tines are quite lovely. And the Stub, particularly, is a very crisp and very smooth nib in Aurora’s nib inventory, to this day.

Having had many years of faithful service from my Optima 360 Monviso with 18k stub nib, Aurora make fantastic pens. I had an Afrika LE years ago with a fine nib and it wrote like a freshly sharpened pencil. Feedback from factory but I found it to be very pleasant. Apologies, it was an Asia LE I owned.

Màntova, from Latin Màntua. The Latin poet Virgil was born there.

Si dice Màntova e non Mantōva. Bravo Dr. Brown, mi piace quando lei si cimenta in Italiano 👏👏👍

Nice review. Was it intentional that the video cuts off at the end?

Aurora makes some beautiful pens. They're just too expensive for me.

I've always liked the feedback from Aurora pens. It's pleasant feedback, not scratchy feedback, and that's fine with me. What I don't like about Aurora, and this applies to ALL Aurora pens, is the price. The price is absolutely insane. By the way, Mantova is pronounced Man-tova, not Manto-va.

I believe you have uploaded the wrong file, this does not seem to be a video prepared for viewers. Random cuts, writing part just started...

Nice pen. Not for me but maybe for someone else. As has already been pointed out this video is not functioning properly. The writing sample is not complete and the ending just cut out while you were discussing the likes and dislikes. Otherwise, thank you. Always enjoy your videos!

Looks a lot like the Asvine P50, minus the gold nib

Mr. Brown, the editing is a little off on this vid, and it cuts off at the end. For the record, I am personally unfamiliar with the brand, but I love your insight, your analysis and your personal take. I think this one didn't upload properly - or - a version of the video that wasn't meant to be uploaded ended up being uploaded. Would love to see you repost this one.

Yeah, something seems to have gone wrong here - 2 sections, the writing sample, and the likes and dislikes were incomplete and ended abruptly. Hey, these things happen. Still my favourite KZbin channel!

noooo it's màntova , the accent is on the first A , it's not a ucrainian city Mantoooovav. it was called MANTUA in Latin. it's the city where Virgilio was born. Pleaaaaseeee stop calling it Mantooooovaaaa consider 2 things if you are interested in Italian: 1. we never pronounce single vowels with a double sound while in English it's quite common. You don 't have "O" you have "OOOUUU". We don't 2. in NORTHERN Italy and in center as well we don't prolong the vowels with the typical souther emphatic sound. You correctly pronounce the O of "Auròra" at 4.39, fast as the other vowels. Unfortunately there's some problem with "AU" that you pronounce "O" . It's actually a diphthong so the two vowels are pronounce in a single time with a weak accent on the second but they still remain two different sounds "A" like "bud" and "U" like "cool". The "o" is open as you correctly say. IN "Lago Maggiore" instead the "O" of maggiore is "closed" like in "mode" without prolongin the "o" . A Sicilian would say "MaggiOOre". A Lombard would not. What you call "gocccheeeah" is "gotcha" but with closed "o". thank you anyway for trying to pronounce Italian, sincerly
