Aurora's the kind of artist you get lost in. You never ask, "Is the song over yet?" You don't check how long it is until the video ends because her music brings you into a whole other dimension and when it's over, you're kind of like, "Oh. When can I go back?" The story she writes is so genuine and real. I really hopes she stays the way she is and ignores typical society these days.

Aurora is so amazing. I'm so happy I discovered her (which I did by accident) because she is such a raw talent. Everything from her voice to her songs is deep, inspirational, and emotional. This whole video really gives us just a dab of what is to come from her. I actually cried while watching this video, like, I relate with her so much. And the lyrics of that first song...describes my thoughts as well. Aurora is such a beautiful person, inside and out. Perhaps she not only a fairy, but also an angel. An angel who will help more people realize the beauty of the world and everything in it, and to cherish all things. Aurora is one of those few artists who knows how to properly and amazingly tell a tale through a song. Every time she sings, her whole self is poured into it, her actions, hand gestures, eye gestures, and vocal complexions all contribute to her story telling as if shes being dragged into her song's dimension. Björk, Of Monsters and Men, Melanie Martinez, Halsey, Florence + The Machine, probably 50 indie singers/bands, 100 dead artists and even some pop stars do that. I think there's nothing wrong with using music for other purposes, there isn't a "correct" way. But people should definitely listen to AURORA, especially if they are into music like this.

You have walked me through a tough relationship, I'm a 53 yr old Canadian who just saw your show in Toronto Ont, I only discovered you like 8/10 mths ago. You have changed my life, Your bandmates and You make me feel like a Warrior. On Feb 14th/19 I was diagnosed with Liver Cancer and still attended your show on March 2nd, We traveled 360 kms and halfway down almost ended up in the emergency in a whole different town. Im watching this during a mental breakdown, I don’t usually tell anyone these things. But ever since I’ve found this angel sent from heaven, she has healed me in such a way that no one has been able to before. I found AURORA around when I lost my grandma, and I was totally lost. I felt as if my world had ended, every memory, every thought, every feeling I had with my grandma had vanished. My life had changed forever. Family life that had already been bad got worse. I hope that the year that has passed, has left you a little happier, and I know exactly how you feel about her. I have been struggling with OCD for a little over 4 years now, and until about a year and a half ago, I could never have asked for such an incredible healer. My nights are ended with her music, and throughout the day I listen to her as much as I can. One of my favorite songs is "Through the Eyes of a Child", the VEVO Stripped, is just something else. More recently I have been religiously listening to "Why?" It's not an album song, it was created for her friend who died in a car accident. It an amazing piece that really gets my eyes watering. For me, AURORA is that piece of my life I never knew I needed, and I don't know where I would be without it. The wisdom, the voice, the heart and soul just are all so perfect. "If their is a god, would we even know his name..." I'm not very religious but the occasional prayer is needed, I just hope that whatever god does exist, they see that I am trying in my life, and hope to make a difference once I finish college, and come my funeral, please don't let me go without playing the music of someone who saved my life...

So, for her 25th birthday I thought I'd rewind, and go and watch all the videos again from the start, and what a great decision that was! To rewatch this particular videos over 5 years later is touching me in ways that it never did the first time. Knowing how true she stayed to the messages in this video makes it absolutely undeniable how important this is to her and, of course, to us.
