Greetings from Scotland! What can be said about Aurora? She's gorgeous, she's an amazing singer, she's different (in a great way). If the rest of us could see the world around us through Aurora's eyes, the world would be a very different and a much better place for us all. Her musical abilities are just a small part of this phenomenon. A totally unique singer and a beautiful spirit! If you don't cry when Aurora sings, then you probably NEVER cry? 👏👏👏

"Little Boy in the grass" Aurora wrote for the victims and their bereaved families of the rampage in Norway. On that day, over 70 people died, including children and friends of Aurora. The motive was Xenophobia. In the song, the children ascend to the sky and the bereaved act normally again, but in the quiet moments they always mourn.

Aurora wrote this song after reading about a "murder" in the newspaper or book. A man killed his wife/girlfriend out of love. She was seriously ill and suffered more every day. He released her from suffering. The song is sung from the perspective of the woman's ghost. He killed her with her consent. She usually only says to the song it is a true tragic love story that doesn't end well. It should be said that this News/Book was an inspiration for this song. That doesn't have to mean that the song itself is about it. But since it all fits together, I think so. Of course, it is written in such a way that many interpretations are possible. Just like Aurora actually always does. To the countdown. Some people say the "killer" is counting down. On the contrary, the song is sung by the victim all the time. For me that means that she counts down herself and than her boyfriend pulls the trigger. And she knows that he knows that he kills her for mercy. That means they both know. Sounds like an agreement.

Regarding Lucky , she has said in a interview that she had the music in her head (and maybe wrote it down ) at 9 yrs old but she added the lyrics much later.

@@SarahDengler Yea and i listened whole concert on the end. it was nice to watch it with you. And she has many emotional songs (also often sad but beautiful). Lyrics for her songs are not always very easy to interpreted right away but she also has some message in her songs. Have a great rest of the week :). After this one you can check more energetic performance from KEXP 2018. F.e. All is soft inside from KEXP or churchyard from the same concert.

Oh yes! I cannot wait to watch this. :) I've stumbled across a few of your reaction videos....so I know this will be good. You always struck me as someone with a very deep and keen sense of emotional understanding. Basically, you seem smart and ethical and creative and cool yourself....and so you can see that in people and things that aren't you. And that's what I look for and love in reaction channels. Can't wait to enjoy this journey with you. I've probably seen this concert 10 times so far....I come back to it every season or so...when summer begins, or fall, or winter, spring....to re-calibrate. It helps....a lot.

As I finished listening Lucky and there was small dilemma about her age when she wrote Lucky: she wrote it at 9. She started to make some music when she was 6 and first lyrics when she was 9 (and she wrote Lucky at age 9 as before that age her English was not good enough to write songs :)). And it is mind-blowing especially if you look on words. Ps. There is a skip in Runaway song in recording - maybe some copyright.
