I went to a party when I was 12 yrs old. There was a dance game, I got laughed at for doing the “wrong moves.” I felt terrible afterwards. Now I don’t dance at parties because that memory comes back. But if I was at an Aurora concert, I would jump and express my feelings because she takes me to a really comforting and fun place. She’s so amazing!!

I grew up in a military family. I know what you're saying...... I often look at people like Aurora and get jealous that they can dance so freely and all I can do is hear my father yelling at me to stop being so stupid and to sit still and behave.

Bobbie Bees woah that sounds really harsh. Now I understand a lot further why Aurora considers her fans warriors. It’s really encouraging and at the same time mind boggling the fact that we only know our own struggles, yet a whole lot of us, thousands or hundreds of thousands go to a certain song like Queendom and in a way that one song connects us all. Makes me think of the struggles that others might be going through. Aurora’s songs are so comforting during these hard times. Cheers from LA 😁

When I was young I got laughed at for my dancing, my jokes, and many other things. When I grew up and went to college I found people who loved me for those things. I was surprised. Just be yourself and eventually someone will see you and know you and love you for who you are in a proper sense. Patience and bravery will be your guide.

Hey. I have been in a similar situation. I felt horrible and ashamed then. But now, I would dance from my heart and that I think is the true form of expression. That is what is powerful and meaningful, when you put forward a part of yourself as you express your heart. And there is incredible freedom in that! I wish we could all love ourselves that much to express freely, without inhibition.

I was a horrible dancer when i was young, i dance anyways in the parties. At first, people laught at me, but with practice i beggin to improve. Now people dance around me in parties, people invite me to parties only for this, and ladys really like it. Dance for yourself, not for others.
