God smacked me on the back of my head! Tonite was my first exposure to Aurora and KEXP...I am filled with joy, and a soft poignant sadness at the same time. Joy, in her remarkable voice and exuberant dance, this is Universe Level energy and Happy Happy. Sadness in that at 70 years old and with instant access to the World...even if I were to only sleep 4 out of 24 hours a cycle, there isn't enough time in several lifetimes to explore the vast wonders and variety of the Human experience, of life, of interacting with others and the spaces we live in! Thank you for such a wonderful experience in this young woman, I am a follower in all the time I have remaining...just Amazing exuberance for life here in this gifted Artist!

I'm heavily existentially depressed for quite a while now im at a point where i don't know who or what i am and i lost all hope lately. Anyways i don't want to talk to much about me here and use this as a cry for help or anything but I cried a lot while listening to this. My core being got touched under thick layers of depression and nihilism and i had almost drug like flashbacks to my childhood i felt what its like dancing in the rain and being one with everything. @JAnderson-xo4go
@JAnderson-xo4go 4 жыл бұрын
@@aptusman Use the graphic equaliser on your iPod or stereo. You can make the same song sound amazing or terrible by adjusting the levels. Times that by a thousand and you get a small idea of what a sound engineer has to deal with. It really is an art and a good one is worth their weight in gold. If you've ever heard a live recording that was crystal clear, you could hear all the different instruments and the singer clearly, it was because of the the talent of the sound engineer, not the musicians.

Most if these kinds of artists don't sound the exact same live because they do so much layering in the studio. E.g Enya, who had one of the most beautiful vocals on this green earth doesn't sound the same live because she layers her voice in the studio. It's all 100% her voice but it just won't sound the same live unless she has like 5 back up singers.

Holy hell she's terrifying! Not in a bad way! Her performance is just so bewitching. One minute she's contained a cute and the next she just turns it loose with her eyes--they just go fucking wild. Holy shit captivating to watch--kinda unsettling in an other worldly kinda way which makes it all the more fascinating.

Finally an artist that is not referred to in a metaphorical sense. Aurora is an actual 'true' artist in literal form. A presence comparable to words such as; Beauty, Majestic, surging at times with the energy of a sharp, cool breeze passing through your soul; creating the emotion of exhilarated excitement. There is a distinct pureness within this artistry, that could be compared to a resurgence of a long lost ancient folklore. Aurora are a phenomenon, they elevate the invested audience somewhere otherworldly though simulataneoulsy a distinct impression of familitarity; such as having breathed once upon a time in your life; the most freshest and cleanest of mountain air :)

No offence, but often this uniqueness, or rare charisma, is why the entertainment industry coose these women, ending their career while entirely whored out. This young woman already shows the signs of not being authentic anymore. Behaving weird. Remember Amy Whinehouse? Or Whitney Houston? Both wrecked by booz and drugs, losing their voices. Thrown on the heap of artists whose careers and lives came to an untimely end. Nowadays, talented and good looking youngsters, that promise to be great revenue models in the spotlights, are made by the creation of a split personality, in order to perform on stage with superhuman quality. The price they pay is torture, an extreme form of submission in order to guarantee stardom on stage, for huge audiences. Until the glamour begins to fade while wearing an armour of make belief, beginning to show cracks. Slaves
