She also sang cure for me during this session. P3 (a Norwegian national radio station) sometimes hands out song assignments to artists who are guests, i think this is one of them. They have done it before with Aurora, they gave her Ariana Grandes God is woman and she got 1 hour to rearrange it with her band. This song came totally out of the blue so i think its one of the surprise songs by P3. You can tell they are having fun with this one =)

I feel like the original song is very much about how horrible Rasputin was and about his rise to power. I feel like when she sings the exact same song, it’s more tragedy about the women and the queen truly putting their hopes and dreams into a man like that. It’s crazy how tone can almost change the meaning of the song

I remember this from the school play ground. As with all Auroras covers I listen to the lyrics like I never did on the original. I was not expecting that. At 58yrs old this young lady has blown me away and I have bought my first concert ticket in over 20yrs.

You undersold the original. Not only was it very 70s and bouncy, it featured a dancer as lead vocalist, a dancer in metallic harem pants and without a shirt, and, oh, by the way, didn't actually sing. Brought to us by Frank Farian, who also brought us Milli Vanilli. If it weren't a hilarious spectacle, it wouldn't be much of anything except perhaps a bit catchy in spots.
