If I'm not mistaken, she wrote this song as a message to the men out in the world who feel emotions, are more sensitive, but feel like they have to cut off their emotions and not show them. instead, she's saying how natural it is to feel emotions, and how simply allowing yourself to cry when you need to cry is so important to do. Emotions are natural, they connect us to the world around us.

Great AURORA reaction! Her singing and her emotional storytelling ability are unique and unmatched! I especially love her live performances, which carry her songs to another level! : "Churchyard" and "All is Soft Inside" from the KEXP concerts; "Little Boy in the Grass," "Through the Eyes of a Child," and "It Happened Quiet" from the Nidaros Cathedral concert (with orchestra and choir -- amazing sound and arrangements); anything from the HAIK concert she gave in a forest (incredible sound and production values, esp. considering this was done in the woods!), and the Bergen Philharmonic concert (her most recent, where she performs "Soulless Creatures" for the first time live!, to name a few!

AURORA is amazing! Yes, this song was written about the high rate of suiside in men, which could be because in many cultures men are told to hold in their emotions and not cry! We need to let the vines grow and become the river and not keep inside where the ocean of emotions drown us! The visuals are so perfectly AURORA! Thank you 🙏

Aurora is simply divine! I balled my eyes out listening to this song. She wrote this song after learning that there were high suicide rates amongst men and she wondered if it's because they feel they have to suppress their emotions.
