well, good U didn't ^^ This one struck U.... y the music of AURoRA often does. She emanates music, it's organic. AND YES, she didn't like performing in the early days, and she goes in a trance like state. She's said she was shocked the first time she watched a performance, she didn't know she was doing some of the movements.

You struck Gold here man. Aurora is a truly unique and special young lady. She's a 25 year old singer/songwriter/producer from Norway. And you picked a great one to start with. Aurora fans love this one. This whole concert is breathtaking. This young lady is one of a kind, and I do hope you will continue your journey. It's well worth it. She is always mesmerizing and magical to watch and listen to. My suggestions for you would be "winter bird" live from Nidarosdomen, "The River" live from Haik or "The Seed" music video.............fun fact, her voice is so soothing to listen to that a camera man once fainted during an interview with her. And by the way, her fanbase is called "Warriors and Weirdos" .......Aurora doesn't care that some people think she's weird, she embraces her uniqueness.

OH i will be continuing. I have been dying to be introduced to more amazing singers/music since discovering Dimash and Hua Chenyu the last few days, and this has led to Aurora. Really enjoyed your reaction to this incredibly talented and unique artist! She's really mesmerizing in the truest sense ... another word that comes to mind is 'authentic.' Many good recommendations by other commentators. I would add a few more: THE SEED (either the music video or the live version at the 2019 HAIK concert that she performed in a forest). Also, for an amped-up AURORA, her live performance at the 2018 KEXP concert in Iceland of CHURCHYARD and ALL IS SOFT INSIDE! (with Bjork in the audience). Then there is her incredible live performance of RUNNING WITH THE WOLVES at the 2020 'Somewhere Else" concert during the pandemic (which builds to a rocked up finale)! And others, but this is a good start.

Welcome to the wonderful world of "Warriors and Weirdos" (AURORA's fans, that is). This time line shows how talented she is: Age 6: Started to follow dance lessons Age 6: Started to compose melodies Age 9: Started writing lyrics in her second language English Age 14: Her family realised she wrote her own songs Age 16: Recorded one song (Puppet) as a gift to her parents Age 16: Performed a self written song (I Had A Dream) at a school assembly Age 16: Gave up dancing (and her dream of becoming a professional dancer) to focus on singing Age 17: Released her first song (Awakening) Age 18: Released her first EP (Running With The Wolves) Age 19: Released her first full album (All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend) Age 19/20/21: Performed hundreds of live shows during her world tour Age 22: Released her second EP (Infections Of A Different Kind (step 1)) Age 22 (just before her 23rd birthday): Released her second full album (A Different Kind Of Human (step 2)) Age 24: Her song Runaway (released in 2015) has gone viral on TikTok, hence turning Runaway into a world wide hit with over 1 million streams daily on Spotify and KZbin Age 25 (today): Working on her third full album, expecting to release it in 2021

She talked about this in the 'Into the light'-documentary: "I played piano when I was 6, and I started writing songs when I was 9. She is amazing listen to 54321 "The murder song" Most songs and music she wrote from age 9 and up. She wrote "I went too far" as a young girl. And you should see " Church Yard" too. Live performance with a spacious stage she dances . She gets Really into her songs barefoot. "When Queendom Come" ? Not positive title is write. she is so happy. She didn't want to be famous. She saidcher songsvwere not written for that. But she was on line and someone asked her. "How would you like to be famous?" She said No because she didn’t write the songs for other people. Then she told her mother the next day. Her mohther told her that her songs were like medicine to her sometimes. Thenshe convinced that sweet girl to go. She said "Would it be fair to the world to not share that." Making people feel better was a reason. She agreed. She writes most of it all about her life and feelings. Except the murder song. She wrote that after reading an article about a man that killed his wife. She felt strongly about it and wrote a song about how it must have felt.

I was going to see these reactions because she is the first and that's why I start with her. As most of us see the similarity in the art of HCY and Aurora and I am joining that too. It has something to it, but it has not attracted my attention yet. I tried to get to know more of her repertoire, but so far, somehow her art is not reaching my soul. When I have time, I will look at Dimash's reactions and maybe someone else's. When I know Dimash, I had an emotional boom for this artist for 3 months. :) :) :)

From the songs i did not mentioned and also in my opinion very emotional: Little Boy in a Grass. I would recommend one of 2 versions: Mahogany Session on a boat for more raw and striped version, but very emotional and second one from Nidarosdomen for more smooth and full instrumental version (but still emotional). EDIT: This (Little Boy in yhe Grass) song is about Utoya massacre when she lost someone she knew.

Great, honest reaction. Go back one step to see a slightly younger Aurora, who was more nervous performing in public, at the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize concert with "Runaway", which she wrote when she was just 11 years old (kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJSaiYqNlKqbmJo). Then move forward to a mature, confident performer at the 2019 HAIK concert, a magical event staged and filmed in the forest where Aurora played during her childhood, to see a smiling, dancing Aurora perform "Daydreamer" (kzbin.info/www/bejne/jnmQgZdunb6GpaM).
