"When she sings, you listen." You just wrapped up Aurora's talent, energy, performance, EVERYTHING in five words. She's a genius empath.

Aurora - I went to far (Live at Honda Stage) A funny little talk at the beginning and a wonderful song about the fact that you should be with people who accept you for who you are. The song shows the other side. An unhealthy relationship where one side wants more love that the other is unwilling to give. To get love, the person almost loses himself.

Great reaction 👍 There is something about Aurora, something innocent as a child 🥰 She has a look on her face and the way she moves, and that voice 😍😍 She has a way of captivating me😍😍 Aurora = Beautiful music ❤️

Hi there ! Congratualtions for entering Aurora's Queendom ! You can practically react to this whole concert. Believe me, it is magical from beginning to end... 58 minutes of pure beauty and magic. You can find the whole concert here on youtube. Best wishes from a German Aurora fan : Gerry

Another special rendition of this song is by New Zealand's national treasure, Hayley Westenra. This song suits Aurora perfectly in every respect. If it did not already exist, I'm sure Aurora would have written something very similar, or maybe she already has with "Winter Bird".

Aurora is a bit different, and "out there" in different settings. This concert in in the oldest cathedral in Norway, the place were the king and queen are beeing crowned, the gravesite of Olav Trygvasson, the home of the crown juwels. It was a big discussions before this concert was allowed, so the feeling was to do this in a humbel, proper and respectful way. It is natural when you think about it: you act diffrently in you are in a lokal pub, or in a cathedral..... 😀

When I hear AURORA sing this song, I see some ephemeral dreamscape in which people are floating above the ground. Nothing at all about snowmen.

We also love the Snowman to bits here in Norway too. One of the many things one simply have to see again to get the right feels, right? It is funny, as out of her covers this is probably the one she follows closest. The main difference, she is taking the tempo substantially down. And they also allow the tempo to vary and even linger. It grounds it compared to the "TV-version". I am not saying the TV version is bad. It is a children movie, and it is skipping "light as a snow-flake" on this magical flight. Just like a small child would want. Aurora's experience of the same wonderful magical flight represents an older "childlike soul". It is still magical and wonderous. But also more reflexive and perhaps a bit more introverted. There is a lot of wonders, but also a distance to the children below not believing their eyes while looking up. Maybe it reflects her own childhood a bit, where at times she felt a bit like the odd-one-out? Your reactions are great, man. I really appreciate them. When she sings you listen. True words, man. I will share something I read about her once. When she comes "out" of a song, you may have noticed that she looks like she has gone to a different place while singing. And often shrugging her head a bit, like shaking the song off her like a wet dog shakes off water after a happy swim. She has pointed out that she picked this up from dogs as a kid. Thinking that since dogs would shrug off excitement or water or joy when one comes home from school - it was probably a good thing to do for people as well. I can't argue with that as I contemplate trying it myself. I remembered this since when I listen to her, I have noticed that I tend to tilt my head a bit like a dog does when it is really filled with attention. You know, when the dog is lying on the floor and one says "What do you think buddy, should we go outside for a walk/run/practice/discipline/search-runs to fire off some puls and mental challenges?" and the dog is sitting sharply with head tilted as saying "I heard that correct right? Repeat it please, because I am sure ready for all of that an more" Have a lovely easter, in case our ways do not cross again before.

@@infin8reactions Don't get me started about Aurora covers, I have a list of 23 covers that she has done, that I have found at least, and for many of them she completely makes the song her own. I will list the best here: You will get to her David Bowie cover of "Life On Mars" in the Nidarosdomen (Nidaros Cathedral) concert list. These 3 are special, they are from the Norwegian radio station NRK P3, where she and her crew are informed about a song to cover, and they get only about 1 hour to practice, but they still sound amazing: Ariana Grande - God Is A Woman: watch?v=fn_6i7Wed-c Imagine Dragons - Believer: watch?v=ucY21wLJhOo Naughty Boy - La La La: watch?v=qgTdhIkK_K4 Other great covers: Massive Attack - Teardrop: watch?v=GPTY6l_PX5k The Beatles - Across The Universe: watch?v=Zb4sIiGLXvc Aurora is the voice of the North Wind in the original Frozen 2 song "Into The Unknown" with Idina Menzel, but she also made her own version. Frozen 2 - Into The Unknown: watch?v=FcDYP0oDB5A

Sorry the Naughty Boy cover is from "Radio Hamburg", so not part of the "1 hour to prepare" thing that NRK P3 does.

If you are enjoying Aroura (I think she is incredible) then you might want to check out Agnes Obel. She is from Denmark. Similar sort of thing. "Agnes Obel - The Curse (Berlin Live Session)"
@kippys13 жыл бұрын
Both amazing singers, but in some ways very different. Agnes Obel composes very sensual uniquely haunting songs, three of which were featured in the German TV series 'Dark.' AURORA's ephemeral and mesmerizing vocals are distincly her own, and are both dark and light at the same time.

When you get to it, try "Exist for Love". Fun and enchanting. I suppose you can imagine where Auroras mind could take you when she is really falling in love. If you want something really different, "Queendom" from her Brazilian concert. Thousands of crazy Brazilian males and females in a night concert and Aurora. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYqnnKWAls52qNk
