Aurora performed this cover several times since she was 18 in 2014, in case you want to see and listen privately. I’m running out of superlatives to describe what an amazing artist Aurora is,her own songs are outstanding but seriously every cover she performs she takes the song to a different level and completely makes them her own.I’ve no hesitation in saying that she’s the best live performer I’ve ever seen and at my age of 66 I’ve seen many artists live but after seeing Aurora perform live no one moved my emotions like her,she just takes you to the very place that she is seeing in her mind it’s as if you are there with her on the same journey.Aurora for me is a Genius ❤️

Great reaction as always 🤗 This is the most beautiful version of this song I’ve ever heard, and Aurora is so adorable and captivating ❤️ In Norway we usually decorate for advent, lights outside and in the windows (stars and “advent stakes”). So this year it will be on the 27 of November😍 Some decorate for Christmas at the same time, but most people wait decorating for Christmas until closer to Christmas eve. I always decorate for advent on the first of advent, and I decorate for Christmas maybe three days before Christmas eve. But the Christmas tree I always decorate on “lille julaften” ( day before Christmas Eve). The day before we decorate the tree, we find a tree on our property. We have go skiing in our forest, very nice tradition. But I’ve already marked out a beautiful tree😍🎄

It is difficult to explain, Aurora has a great voice for magical and folklore music. Her version was well done, love how everything was so natural sounding. 10/10. I am always intrigued what Aurora has to offer, as she is such a creative artist. Nightwish under Tarja did a cover of Walking In The Air, which you can find on KZbin. I quickly watched your reaction video, as I am off to the London O2 Arena to see Evanescence and Within Temptation.

Norwegian vowels are very similar to the Italian ones. But the O use the close vowel sound. An open Italian O is written Å in Norwegian. Some folk "etymology" on the cathedral (Name of the river) (possessive) (Outlet) (Cathedral) (The) NID AR OS DOM EN NID-AR-OS was the name of the town/city where the cathedral was built.

NI-DAR-OS (pronoce nee-dar-os where "os" is pronoce like Spanish words till exampel 'degos'. 'Os' means a delta in Norwegian and it is the dflta of the river 'Nidar'.

Nidarosdomen is the largest Medieval cathedral in Scandinavia. It is in Trondheim, Norway. Nidaros is the old name of Trondheim. Domen = The dome.

This song and Aurora are a perfect match. The whole Nidarosdomen concert is perfect, magical art of the highest possible quality (vocals, instruments, lighting, camera work, sound engineering). Nina, if I may, I would like to suggest one of Aurora's more recent performances. This is "Temporary High" from her most recent album "The Gods We Can Touch". The album version is an 80s style syn pop song but this is Aurora's acoustic version, performed on German television and I think it highlights the lyrics and Aurora's voice more effectively than the original - (kzbin.info/www/bejne/jHjdc5Wag8qEo68). Also, a magical extra, this is Aurora doing a duet with herself, singing a snippet of a Scandinavian folk song - (kzbin.infoDRS0t6a-res). I hope you can find the time to watch and enjoy them.

Thank you for your reaction Nina. This performance is like a candy cane. Here in the states we have this thing called Thanksgiving. It's kind of a tradition among some sort of majority that Christmas decorations are not allowed until after the turkey has been eaten and the family fights have settled. Some, myself included, hold that every time a Christmas song is played before Thanksgiving, an elf loses its life (placed on the stone shelf, so to speak), or some similar abomination. But of course Aurora's Walking in the Air transcends all of that nonsense. It can't be a Christmas song if it's an Aurora song!

As always very good and interesting reaction. Also of course love this cover. Very magical and beautiful. If we are talking about Christmas and Aurora, i would recommend this miniconcert with 2 songs in her native language. It was made in Christmas and covid times. And she sings second one with children's :). Unfortunately no subtitles but you can move through talking between songs if you wish :). Great reaction. I first heard the Nighwish version, then other rock and metal versions. Being from the US, I had not heard this song but was taken with the melody immediatley. I found Aurora's version and decided I liked the acoustic vesion better. But the I found a version done with a small intimate ensemble in another cathedral that was stunning. I knew the singer (Jarkko Ahola) from listening to his Finnish metal band (that I cannot pronunce) and always loved his voice. When I first heard him sing this I was surprised by the way he started the song, until I actually found the movie and watched it. Jarkko is the most underated male singer. Aurora could go a bit nasal earlier in her career. But as the true artist she is, she just getting better and better. You can hear how much her technique has evolved over the last seven years. She is, by far, my ab fab singer, writer, poet. Love from Norway Nina.
