One thing that differentiates Aurora from other artists is that her "sad" songs aren't "hey i'm sad let's party until the sun comes out" or "i am all alone" type of songs. Her songs are sad, but in the way that reminds us that IT IS OKAY TO FEEL SAD, it is okay to feel down. That is what life is about. All we need is to remember how it was to feel alive. And in her songs, we are encouraged to free ourselves of our emotions, even if her songs sound weird to mainstream listeners.

I finaly understood this song and the whole album. It is so beautiful. It is about waking up, about realizing and being aware of the bad things and the good things in this world-universe. She says it is growing tall because are always learning more and more about it, as humans and as individuals. It is called infections of a different kind because when you realize of all the things happening all over the world and ampathize with all the beings experiencing hem (humans and not humans). You start "getting ill" of the infection of love and empathy and careness and will to make things better. It is an infection, but just a different kind of infection. It is so beautiful that tears start comming out of my eyes. This is one of my favorite works of art ever and so far.

It gives me chills in the spine how this song sums up everything that is happening now in the world. We are the "infection" but of a different kind, we are intelligent but we are seeking our own destruction. We are infecting the world, we are the ones to blame for the things that is happening. Wildfires, floods, global warming etc. "If there is a God would we even know his name" we worshipped money and other material things this world could offer that we forgot to believe in someone greater than ourselves. If the word 'beautiful' in its purest form is an adjective I can use for only one song, it has to be this one. I'm so happy that I discovered Aurora today! I am in love with this song. This is what music is about. The vocals connected to my soul. It's been very long since a song has captivated me this intensely. It feels like this song was carefully handcrafted for my experiences, with the lyrics tailor-made for my thoughts and opinions on the different themes in this song. It reminded me of the time during covid when I struggled a lot with coping with all the horrible things happening to me, the people close to me, and the world. I had very similar thoughts about the different themes in this song. Also, all the little inflections and ornamentation in her singing are so captivating. For example, at 1:53, the first "for a while" has a tone of being tired of it all and pleading to feel okay. The 2nd one sounds more like, "Can I even get to the point of feeling okay?" And the 3rd and last time, she sounds more convinced that yes, it is possible, and there is hope. I can probably write a whole dissertation on this song.

I found out that Aurora's songs are really wide. Even though she is an aethiest,a christian can hear this through her lyrics: Within this violated world,would God want to intriduce Himself to us and wouldn't we feel like He has turned away?Why would He give /hear whatever a sinner's prayer asks?Or why would He believe a so called christian falling for the same sin again and again?So,for the first step to His side,Let ourselves be infected by love,kindness,empathy,purity in our most possible ways,good things and be possessed by His goodness/holy spirits to comfort each other while we battle the sins .Being on the side of God is not to be magically calm in life but to be strong to fight the flaws in life and to make a better world before entering Heaven( just like Mothership will lead the infected ones after the deeds are done,like in the seed,apple tree just before Mothership track) This is really a soul-touching song.

I've loved Aurora since the first time I heard her. This is not only my favorite song by HER, but just may be my favorite song EVER! The word "love" is so often used (or misused) without REALLY meaning it. I'm guilty of it myself. But I feel pretty confident in saying that I love Aurora! I would love so much to meet her, if for no other reason than to give her a hug and say "Thank you!".

He is a really underground writer and i think not many people understand his work well.. ive heard people say its triggering however my opinion is that he just perceived the world differently than other writers or even people. Keep in mind they are from older times, and he's using simple language but i believe deeper in his word there is a real poetic meaning..what i am.trying to say is that i , at least, view his work more as an interpretation of a man's psychology back then , or even now , of a lonely person , who simply lives and pays more attention to the essence of the action rather than the quality or the quantity of it . More like , the feeling it leaves , and not the consequences, at all.. anyways i am not explaining it so well, whatsoever though to sum up , in case i make this a bit more understandable, he does not write like the stereotypical poetic writer and all.. though i absolutely love him , his one of my favorite authors / poets ever (and love is a dog from hell is one of the best books ive read ) and i really wish that u will find the deeper meanings in his work , interpret it in the right way and end up loving him as well,if u haven't already and even if u end up not liking him , its okay :)) (sorry for making this so long )

This song ages well. I had the privilege to listen to it live and I cried all my tears. The sentence "I'm more than okay for a while" breaks my heart everytime bc I have anxiety so it's hard, I'm struggling to be alive everyday and If I'm okay, I'm okay just for a day or two and then I have a mental breakdown that destroys me for days. It doesn't end. Anyways I'm here and I'm forever grateful to AURORA, she always makes me feel seen. 🤍

@bubbles bunny but there is like some negative sadness and pain in it where she like transforms it in healing to feel better, she includes bad emotions in her music and that is amazing because it isn’t just so that everything is happy and so. I think it’s necessary because the simplistic positivity mindsets are killing us I think you don’t get time to grieve nowadays and she creates an art were you are allowed to take time and were you are seen and were you can just let it be. She includes bad pain emotions in her music in a very elegant way
