I worked in the control tower, 70/71. My barracks still there, 66 Aviation Company, first barracks on the left coming in the gate. Had the view of the pasture from our third story window.

2:18 Das waren die Apartment Wohnungen für die Familien der Soldaten. Die Einzel Haüser zum Süden waren für Offiziere und Familien. Ich wohnte in Gebaüde 1420 #6 von 1965 zu 1967. All die Gebaüde sind schon heruntergestellt für eine neue Fabrik.

My barracks is still there, B Co 205Th Trans which changed to B Co. 8Th Bn 158Th Avn was there from Jan 1987- Jan 89. I wish I could go back and walk around the place for a day or two. Look for the 205th Trans Bn. - 8th/158th AVN Reunion Page Facebook or the Friends of Fliegerhorst page.

I did see that the B Co. barracks is still standing. Looks like our motorpool is gone but it appears as if 1/2 of it is there.
