Love the little joke with the ripsaw. Guy calls it a swiss army knife and there's a brief shot of a Swiss serviceman with his "Suisse" patch. Editor had some fun with that.

They look like useful and interesting tools. Weight, sound emission, and sustainability ought to be considered when implementing them.

Why does the Mrzr Alpha have such tiny wheels? That's terrible, glad it has optional tracks.

MRZR Alpha would be nice with the inclosed cab it had a air conditioner in 110 F (43 C) heat. The enclosed cab in a hot area is a bad idea without air conditioning.

honestly, if cost is low, it could be a great utility vehicle to replace humvee, g-wagon, etc.

The xm204 will revolutionize mine laying in combat which makes rear or forward area safe from enemy activity, man after the afghanistan drawback imagine what the americans will be fielding in future battlefields with its combined force, i feel another 1991 dessert shield/storm type warfare will appear which the americans will showcase technological dominance, its not speed but the accuracy and effect of the weapons and men employed which will be the very factor

why no armor? why is the us military going for these small underpowered unarmored vehicles? Are they that fast and maneuverable that they can out run weapons ?

Less armour,more mobility

It's worked in Ukraine, but you can't use it in all operations. They operate like light cavalry in some ancient armies - not used for fighting but transport. If your concerns are ambush and IEDs then you need something heavier, depending on the fire you expect to come under and the troops you need to transport. When necessary heavier armour like the MPF or an RCV will be used to take out entrenched firepower while infantry hangs back or flanks enemy positions.

As war has proven, sometimes no armor is the best armor.

Mud was a huge issue for Canadian Forces liberating Netherlands and it seems to be an issue in Ukraine. Did AUSA address this? It's my understanding that mud can break soldiers. Break machines.

If I were a betting man, I would bank on Canada going with Can-am for such a vehicle.

4:00 (We must not rely too much on killer robots, it would be dispoyalty and dishonor. Because robots don't have a soul, a heart and they don't know loyalty and honor. Winning wars requires human soldiers who have hearts, souls, and who know loyalty and honor!)

Question 1 : Are you the guys that got $500million in pre funding to build an unarmored go kart? Calling it a “light” assault vehicle. Question 2: Can we have our money back? Question 3 Can Rheinmetall just have all of your funding and you guys bring that switchblade guy we call this a wrap. Can you find a soldier that want this on the battlefield? The ones i know complain the Stryker isn’t enough armor.

IMO It's about mobility, not armor, it's supposed to replace kilometers of reconnaissance running on foot and gives nice ability to retreat very fast and through almost any environment

🇬🇧 look at this make some good deal to open manufacture these in UK buy 250 Ripsaw M3s & M5s 250 so total 500 this would increase british army strike capacity i mean a lot in M5 you can choose the new 50mm cannon Northrop Grumman instead of Kongsberg that they have than you can put different types of but whith that speed maneuverability low noise you can do a lot then equip whith a lot of types of payloads missile systems turrets everything you can imagine like he said these will be Swiss knife of US army and the Brits would smart to act know and first to fill this gap just think about it Benny boy Wallace they can do even ship to sore landins I mean 😉.....
