It still blows my mind that such a stash existed at all in this day and age, not just the Grants but all the rest around it, Stuarts, Universal Carriers, Trucks and Armoured Cars, you’ve got enough there for restoration projects for the next 50 years!! Great video and looking forward to part 3.

As an ex soldier, if you have large moves like this, call individual army units and suggest they support the museum by doing a training lift. The soldiers love it. It gives lots of good training. And it will probably just cost you a bbq lunch and maybe some beers at the end. Let army recruiting know as they might help negotiate. I did some stuff like this and it was great.

85 Tp, and the descendants of 158 (Tk Tptr) Tp would be all over that like a rash. I carried a Sentinel from the Sydney Railway Workshop back to the Pucka Armour museum in 93... Some of the questions I got over the 2 way would make your head spin...Turned the wireless off so I could concentrate on driving...

Just watched the whole thing WOW what a treasure trove of History. I can see a 4 tank plt of these M3's all set up and painted for the Australian Armored Force from WW2. What a find guys and I am drooling over these last few episodes. Cheers from Oregon USA BTW I am an Old DAT on the M1IP(Army) and a TOW2 gunner(Marines and Army) so anything with tracks and guns is good in my book. Have fun everyone

Along with the skilled workers who bring these vehicles back from extinction, it is vital work to ensure that future generations do not forget the sacrifices made. Wars are not to be revered. 60+ years ago, I remember old tanks all across the Wimmera, particularly a yard full of bits just outside Murrayville. I often wondered what became of them; perhaps some of these are the ones I remember from my youth. Good to see them going to a museum !

Please do a restoration of a tank where the weathering on the outside, as well as the original paint remains untouched. It's so extremely rare to see war time pigment still on these tanks. And adds a very strong impression to the tank itself.

What a super find and a generous host! That lot reminds me of my grandpa's "junk" collection outside of his workshop on the ranch. As a kid, it was a treasure for making up "forts" and hiding from chores in old (and I do mean OLD) farm equipment dating back to the very early 1900's (Model T's, A's, all kinds of haying stuff). Can't believe a rattler didn't use us for target practice. Thanks for dredging up fond memories from a 79 year old brain!

Fantastic can-do attitude on display. A decade ago I spent two years trying to have a Great War German howitzer dug up and restored in Britain to mark the centenary. It's the only one of its kind in the country and one of only 12 in existence. When it came to support or assistance I was turned down by all the major military museums, the Army, the local council, local history groups, local businesses - in fact by everyone but the nearest Royal Naval Reserve unit. In the end I had to give up and it's still lying buried where it has been since the 1920s. I wish we had people like the Oz Armour Team and Jono over here.
