Ive watched this entire series from here in the UK and the weekly updates have become a much anticipated part of my week. For all that I can still hardly find the words to express how impressed I am with this magnificent restoration effort - all thanks to a great bunch of lads who are a credit to themseves, their museum and indeed their country. Well done!

My Father In Law was horse-mounted Cavalry when the war started. His first transition was into the Grant. We have a picture of him on the gun line at Fort Knox our son was able to recreate with M1 Abrams over half a century later. I wish my Father In Law could see the great work you did on this restoration. He would have loved it! Thank you for all your hard work and skill in bringing this beast to life.

Hello from Canada, I have watched the entire series from the beginning. It has given me a new appreciation for US industrial might and standardisation. I also have a new appreciation and respect for the M3 Grant. It is obviously a transitional tank between the early attempts in WWI to the mighty beasts of WWII, but it is much more nimble than I ever thought just from looking at pictures and diagrams. I would certainly have preferred a Grant to not having tank support at all. In the Pacific campaign, where the Japanese only had very small light tanks, the Grant would have been a formidable opponent. Even in the desert campaign, the British appreciated the excellent engineering and serviceability of the Grants. They did their job, and now this one can take its place of honour. Well done to Daryl and Jesse and all those who helped out along the way. A special thanks to Kurt. The quality of the videos and narration really showcase all this hard work to the viewers.

My favorite thing about the Grant is you can see where the Sherman variants were coming from. It also tells the history of its development throughout its design. A decent stopgap tank in a desperate time. It wasn't the greatest tank but it was where it needed to be while it was around. Its often the beginning and end of a story people remember when the middle is just as important.
