I think they need to fix all the current issues first instead of working on new projects. The majority of the simmer population is coming to 2024 until the basic stuff is fixed

My brother started a nice flight from DNCA and set course for DNEK and it looked heavenly at first then from nowhere a line showed on the terrain with a flat pale green tapestry. The runway at DNEK showed as a muddled mark on the pale featureless green and when his wheels touched down, the entire aircraft sank below the earth and practically disappeared. It was such a hideous turn of events. He stood up and snapped the system off. That was my first experience with MSFS2024.

Hi Shane. I never knew how good msfs 2020 was until I played 2024. Mate I'm hanging around 2020 until at least 2024 update 10 is released. I find it very frustrating and unplayable.

Since the last update 1.2.8 it's now crashed twice. It never crashed before on me. Good work guys EDIT: Turns out it was AutoFPS that it didn't like. I uninstalled that and it's not crashed since. They probably did it on purpose because it accesses licenced files that it isn't allowed to and people have been banned from talking about the program in Microsoft's forum

Patch 1.2.8.0 fixed the NanoVG issues that have been blocking progress for TDSSim and their GTNXi Pro, so we should hopefully start seeing more fleshed out support in FS2024 soon

They haven’t been finished yet most likely. You didn’t think we would just get all four planes straight away did you? We will very likely get them when they were scheduled to release every other month or whatever it is, just like when local legends released in FS2020

@@WhiteHawk77 I'm new to all this, so thanks. The way they were talking it was like they were releasing it with the next patch (3). The patch where they said they fixed the cockpit rain effects, and after patch 4 is still broken. And where they seemed to fix pop in, but now it's back again. I've had to turn off plants and rocks because their sudden appearance so close to the camera is super immersion killing

@ Unfortunately you’ll have to get used to that kind of thing, Asobo sucks, there’s stuff they broke in FS2020 which hasn’t been fixed in years, stuff that should be simple to have sorted in a hotfix by most other devs.

Anybody else notice not all their aircraft load? On occasions I've had Chinook, Boeing Stratoliner, Curtis C-46, Fokker JU-52 and more just not appear. Shut the sim and restart and some missing ones appear, and others disappear! So many glitches.

I guess i’m lucky with 2024 and I don’t have any major issues. Fenix flies well and nearly all of my add-on sceneries are playable (only 3 out of 76 are not).

Same here. I've only managed once in over 40 hours of trying to get passed 68%. It took over an hour. I then flew a plane for 20 minutes and the sim crashed. Wonderful.

I see absolutely no point in upgrading to 2024. The improvements are too slight, I’m not very interested in the career mode, so I’m perfectly happy staying in 2020. I’d say that beyond sorting out bugs and performance, MS/Asobo would need to show some serious improvements for me to want to switch to an always online version.

Have u tried the full reinstall hack, since they changed the servers? I done it, an really not hard as such small install, an everythings streamed. Ive heard ppl using vpns can help stability also

The game is garbage. It was released as a hacked up beta and fanboys want you to focus on irrelevant crap. Sure most of the planes are glitched so bad you can't really do much in career mode, but look how beautiful the grass is. If I want to see detailed grass I'll go outside. It's not an outdoor sim it's flight sim fix the planes.

For me personally, MSFS 2024 has been completely stable. No CTD. I've kept my drivers up-to-date and Windows 11 patched. Update 1.2.8 has made panning around the cockpit butter smooth at bustling airports and the god rays are absolutely stunning! Specs: 7800X3D, 64G RAM, RTX 4080.

7950X3D (Process Lasso, Game Mode=OFF, Xbox Game Bar=OFF, Ultimate Power Plan, 3090 Ti 24GB, 2x32GB DDR5-6400/CL32, 1Gb fiber connection, WiFi 6. 4K, DLSS-Quality, TLOD=250, OLOD=135, Mostly Ultra, some High. Sim is running beautifully. No CTD's, 50-85 FPS (no frame gen) depending on altitude. The world looks absolutely gorgeous. Are there issues? Yes. The Controls UI is an abomination, and there's no Live Traffic (server problem.) Some sim objects are being injected poorly. Are some things better than they were in FS2020? Absolutely. I'm very happy with the performance, stability, and visual quality I'm getting right now.

I asked 2 times for refund. Only to be denied by the digital license clause. I deleted this garbage product and will stick with 2020. I bought aviator version. What a disappointment.
