For many of us, this "Asobo" faction has been put in power without having been vetted, and many, persistent, flight sim features, going back 40 years, have changed overnight.

How long can we use fs 2020? Will they abandon servers and when? I expect at least another 6 years because they said 2020 would have a 10 year support

Will purchases from the market place in 2020 carry over to the 2024 sim?

What I want more than anything else is an online career mode, something like FS Economy but integrated into the game. Give me a reason to fly so that I can feel like my flights are not just sightseeing trips but in fact are done for a purpose. Allow me to work my way up from hired pilot to owning planes to running some form of airline / transport company. Make a dynamic-ish economy where we feel like we are not alone in the game world but flying with others.

Any idea how the add-on transfer will work because I got a lot of aircraft and scenery in FS2020.

For the low price , it is very good quality ... enough buttons to assign controls to. Mine began go bad after it sat unused in a humid environment for about a year....tried taking it apart and cleaning it.... it got worse . Just ordered new one. IL-2 no fun without rudder authority .

Any news on what the 3rd party developers are going to be expecting yet? Will it use the same SDK as 2020? Simconnect etc? 😬

I don't get how there is still no moderation within the marketplace, MSCenery stuff would not even be good as freewares. I truly feel bad for people who thought they were buying an aircraft they are passionate about and ended up with a flying .jpeg. Microsoft is basically allowing ripoffs IMO

Not for me everything is focused on graphics. and the flight model vs xplane12? Even a child lands a plane without problems... and in reality, would a child be able to? So, for me, it's no, the 2020 version is enough for me to play like a child.

I don't know if anyone has asked for this in the upcoming 2024 but one thing sorely missing in MSFS is the ability to exit the aircraft on the ground and 'walk around' exploring the scenery a la X-Plane 11. This included the ability to walk up and down steps, etc. It was also great for doing preflights. Asobo's external drone camera is handy for some things, but not for realistic exploring. Oh well, here's hoping.

Just FYI there is no such aircraft called the 787-800, there is a variant called the 787-8 or 787 dash 8. At least get it right.

2024 and still love the 727 and 737 by flyJsim. Fly them multiple times a week still even after all these years.

Bruh. I wanted to download the update this morning and guess what happened. MY GRAPHICS CART AND THE BOOTSYSTEM BOTH BROKE

This new airliner in the release has many flaws. It won't steer right. ATC has missing Ground request like call a fuel truck, attach jetway ect. After flying for a while it starts sounding off some aircraft engines from some other aircraft. Not happy. I will have to empty my community folder to try and see what is going on.

Clearly it’s Airbus. Not sure if that was an error on the title cuz it’s definitely Airbus.

Don't really mean to be too nitpicky, but San Francisco is KSFO, not kfso. Also its just -8 for the 787. There is no 800 variant. Also reffered to as "dash 8". Thanks for the video though.

I'm disappointed to find the 320 Neo v2 has encrypted cfg's files. My ability to modify fuel, lift, and thrust scaler settings would get this baby flying more to my liking!

Another gem of an update. Great information. I wonder if MS will follow the 3 version, Standard, Deluxe and Premium Deluxe, for MSFS 2024? I have the Deluxe version of 2020. I didn’t feel that the Premium Deluxe version was worth the extra money at the time I got back into flight simming.
