Going back to work full time since working for myself is not working out, its good to be back at a full time job, all stainless steel work, machinist and welding work.
Once things have stabilized I will terminate the Patreon account and just causally upload videos as I see fit, this channel is just a side project at this point.
The generator project will be moving a long tho, and I have yet to upload videos of the power hacksaw resto.

I am still waiting to find out whats happening with the CCTV and checkout electronics

Good on you - you are too talented as a machinist to be pisfarting around with wacky engineering - you need to recognise that you have many viewers who are machining engineering oriented - videos from your full time work as instructional vids like Abom may be the go - good luck with everything.

She's an attention-hungry li'l thing, isn't she? XD Have a couple indoor cats like that, they love to snuggle but I get too warm pretty quickly because of their body heat! Like little furnaces they are.

ammo is expensive too :p, I would love to make a Delisle carbine clone on a SMLE action in 9mm, I can get crates of 1500 rounds of lead round nose target ammo for $300, pretty cheap plinking
@Aussie50
@Aussie50 6 жыл бұрын
that and it could use Glock mags, 32rd 9mm mags can be had, just expensive

the n series of video recorders came around right before the vhs vcr. these are early 70's to late 70's and they were a little funky since it was a reel on top of a reel in a square case for the tape. strange design but they were doing all kinds of stuff in the 70's mostly these were more common in the uk then the us and anywhere else.
@Aussie50
@Aussie50 6 жыл бұрын
yeh I looked this one up, Its mid 70's era, the tapes reminded me of an 8 track but not quite, its not a full loop.

If your going to part out the extruder that angle drive gearbox looks like it would make a nice weld positioner. Dont know how much you would need one but they are handy to have. I made one out of a grain truck 40:1 gearbox and a Ryobi drill. Works great!

I read your statement above about going to work. The problem, AFAIK, is that certain type of competent and enterprising people do not have a framework that could pay the bills for designing, testing and prototyping new cool things for a better future. So I try to come up with a solution for that. If you can find my web address from my profile, I explain this idea of a designers' framework briefly on the index page.
