I put some rags under the oil filter before I remove it to provent oil dribbling down over the starter motor.

Just a quick hint, if your brake fluid is low it's indication of warn brake pads. Unless it wasn't topped up correctly after a bleeding, when the brake fluid was replaced/bleed last time.

when doing the air filter dont forget to check the little can underneath the airfilter stores alot of dust more than people think and alot of people dont know about it

Just a word of caution about the brake fluid. Don't top it up all the way, it drops as the pads & shoes wear and when you replace them the brake fluid spills out and makes a right mess.

When you top up brake fluid always check brake pads as fluid should only drop in level as brake pads wear down

Good trick to get transmission drain and filler bung out without it fkn it is grind the round lip off the socket you need makes it heaps easier

Low brake fluid can indicate that your pads are wearing out too. Shouldn’t be leaking so I’d check them out…

You could put some plumbers tape around that filler plug that's stripped & that should hold it in, don't over-tighten it.

if you dont run it buy some stuff called fuel doctor from supercheap auto and you put it in your fuel tank its turns water into fuel and its cleans your fuel system and injectors i run it on all my engines such as boat outboards mowers leaf blower petrol and diesel engines good stuff and just add a bit more protection to your car as well as cleaning your fuel system

@@deceebs for real. 1fzs have got heaps of power, heaps of torque, and are ultra reliable. 4wders always dismiss them cos of the fuel economy, but they are one of the best 4wd engines ever made. They run for ever

you didnt check your front hub wheel bearings .....or rear wheels bearings they are floating hubs all the way around .....they need constant maintenance also those engines need tappet adjustments or shims replacements .....and timing belt replacement .....??

Love the video, btw both filters can be used without issue, the flow rate and micron rating are the same. Ryco filters generally work to around 15 micron.
