Hunting, Fishing, Traveling High Country Victoria (Sambar Deer, Trout)

Was a joyful relief to finally get back to the Victorian high country after so many years, and finally hunt my beloved Sambar once again. I took some time and traveled through parts of the bush I hadn't seen before, exploring and fishing as I went and setting off on an over night pack hunt.. getting my good times very natural.

Khancoban....I moved about 15 minutes from there in a place called Biggara. Backing onto about 80,000 hectares I believe of state Forest. The deer walk past my home lol. Great video. Top place

Didn't shoot a Samabar but sighted a few, got honked many times and saw unlimited amount of sign. Awesome weekend nonetheless and very keen to get back up there to get the job done! It looked freshly logged on google earth but they need to up date there shit it was so overgrown I couldn't make my way in anywhere. I walked 4km in and still no dice gonna try the other side of the gully next and see what that's like fingers crossed.
