Tumby Bay is our FAVOURITE TOWN ON THE EYRE PENINSULA! We know it's a big call - but we are willing to make it. We absolutely loved how well looked after the entire place is - the residents clearly take pride in their home town. In this episode we:
▪️Leave Port Lincoln for a destination unknown that turns out to be
▪️Tumby Bay
▪️The weather gets nasty and we end up waiting it out in
▪️Red Cliff Beach Camp - a free camp right on the ocean
▪️Thankfully we have pockets of sunshine so we can spend a few hours on the beautiful, fairly secluded beach
▪️We meet some of our followers who own the local Foodland and butcher and end up with delicious local meat and produce
▪️We sink in the mud at the campsite so decide we'd better move on before we get stuck!
▪️Chris spends 2 days washing and detailing the truck and it ends up completely trashed!

I shed a tear after watching my favourite uncle and aunty lived in Tumby many memories and great holidays my uncle was the first mechanic on the Eyre Peninsula and also the local Ford dealer Curtis's he also was instrumental in saving the local jetty from being demolished and helping the town out in building the first boat marina RIP Uncle Laurie and Aunty Dawn

We have a house at Tumby Bay and live sometimes there and some time at our other home but no we are not rich we just worked hard, We are buying a caravan at the end of the year and just going to travel up and down the Eyre Peninsula coast, it's close to home and we love it. What an awesome place. Been there ourselves a couple of times. Just to mention Miriam regarding putting your feet on the dash. Not a good idea think about the safety factor if involved in an accident. I know of people who have had this happen and can no longer do what they used to. Please stay safe. Love you guys 💖💙

awesome vid, its so good to see a supermarket ( in this case foodland) that actually HAS a butcher doing there meat.... Honestly its the best meat having the butcher carve it rather then pre packed. tumby bay seems like a big thumbs up

So awesome to see this Vid, we were there 2 weeks ago and did exactly what you did! Spent a couple of hours in Tumby bay then went onto Redcliffs for two nights, it’s exciting to see what we have just done through your eyes! We are at Streaky Bay now and onto Perlubie tomoz we have had no wind since Before Port Lincoln so the last couple of weeks for us has been amazing! Love your content guys so much like ours❤️❤️

yes washing the truck sucks but just in case you havent heard of them ,i used a shammi called the big green sucker very absorbent we even got a 2nd one for the shower in our hybrid van and im surprised you guys dont carry your own gerni with the power you have haha luv watching ya vids keep them coming

Good suggestion! We had a Dyson at home and left it and bought this one. It does the job well in our caravan but I probably would keep the Dyson if we had a house still 👍🏼
