Height is always an advantage. First you make the enemy come towards you. You can see them clearly but they cannot. They don't have any idea about your numbers. The enemy also has to come uphill with all that gear along being under heavy supressive fire. If you even roll a rock at them it will go and hit them at a speed of a truck. That's why India had to mobilise huge numbers of soldiers during the Kargil War. The ratio becomes 9:1
