The english just ruled for about 200 years. However these temples are 1000's of years old. It was always a culture to put money and gold in secret chambers in India because this amount could be used for social cause and betterment of people specially during natual calamities. And importantly this sum was treated as the savings of the country as a whole and the culture still continues.

This women won my heart.... She is so intellectual.. Let me tell you Indian knows math physics biology and solar system for more than 2 thousand years as written proof.. We are having worlds oldest university and written books... We Indian haven't focused 500 years ago to be super power and and had never thought to dominate any country than only we had built missiles.... But eventually other counries left us no choice and we have to make missiles for our safety... Countries like Russia ,USA , China and UK have invented destruction where as we invented a healthy and happy life also to respect the nature as God.. Hi ...... The English or the Britishers invaded in India around 270 years ago, but my friend these wonderful temples are build around 5000 years ago. If the Indians would have hide their gold in these temples by the fear of Britishers then why were we poor after 1947. But the people who have build those temples means our Ancestors 5000 years ago must have not hide but left so much of valuables. And also please you can make a video on Dwarika Nagri of Shri Krishna hidden ruins in Arabian Sea. We were known as "Sone ki Chiriya" or "Sone ki Chidiya" or "The bird of gold" the Britishers drowned our whole wealth. Still we are at a wonderful position in the world.
