Great video! We use chicken breast boiled, cubed into pea sized pieces for his training treats. My wife and I do 2 ten minute fun training sessions a day. I’m up early and take the 6 am shift. Simple commands like touch, where he sits and touches my palm with his nose. He loves this training, plus if we are out and he is distracted, I just say touch and he comes over and puts his nose in my palm. Instant focus on us. Simple and fun.

My wife and I have both had multiple dogs. Our Aussiedoodle is by far the smartest. Which also means he has been the toughest to train. He is obnoxiously strong and hyper. But is also the most loving and friendly. Still he is a handful. Love him tho.

Misty Kessler we had the premier pet one but we just switched to the petsafe one because the first ones collar stopped working. I think it’s because the waterproof cover for the button fell off. They’re both pretty much the same systems tho, here are the links. bit.ly/2DRSvJu AND bit.ly/3fXyvSL

Also, when you get your young puppy home, be sure to handle her/him a lot. Put you fingers in the puppy’s mouth, rubbing the gums. Examine inside the ears and eyes. Gently remove the sleep pookies from her/ his eyes. Hold your puppy’s feet and examine between the pads. Learn to express the anal glands. My Aussiedoodle let’s me scrap her teeth to remove buildup. That’s due to frequent handling that made her trust me to not hurt her. My vet is amazed at how good she is during her exams.

Hello- I thought you had mentioned that you placed the transmitter to your wireless fence in your basement? I was wondering if it was a full concrete basement (finished) and if there were any special installation tips you had to follow for it to work from there? (We have an Aussie doodle as well:)
@toreynoora3 жыл бұрын
Honestly it worked for a few months and stopped. I think it was the collar/battery tho. I haven’t taken the time to figure it out since it’s winter now. I think we’re going to put a wire in the ground when spring comes. The wireless box is a little finicky

I get your security concern however there are several other training methods to achieve it too. Shock collar even at a mild setting can cause slow brain damage. Please I am not judging you it's just that I believe Shock collars are never good for the over all health of dogs. Love your dog btw.😄

@@CarlsCozyCorner That’s how she chooses to train her dog so what’s the issue? You want her to argue back and forth and apologize to the girl for how she chooses to raise her dog? Her dog seems fine.
@CarlsCozyCorner3 жыл бұрын
@@theprncsschmst I personally disagree with it, it makes about as much sense as putting a shock collar on your child and shocking them when they act out, but I meant her seemingly automated response of "thanks for watching!" At the accusation of animal abuse.
@theprncsschmst3 жыл бұрын
@@CarlsCozyCorner Animal abuse is subjective to an extent just like child abuse. I don’t agree when parents hit or yell at their children, but guess what? People still do it and obviously unless the abuse is severe, I don’t make it my business. Dogs and children are not the same things. People use it to train their dogs, you don’t have to worry about “training” a child. If someone accuses me of animal abuse for whatever reason, I’m not going to waste my time and go back and forth. Just like you shouldn’t.
