when their shrines are being burned down, they're not losing income as long as the shrines are being replaced. It just means more of that eco is invested into shrines instead of other things. If you want them to actually lose eco, you have to go for vils and force idle time, but the result is pretty much the same either way, and killing shrines is easier/safer.

@@DegriffaDylan The card that gives you the chance to call militia two times. I call it when im sure they are goign to rush hard. its very effective card. Defending from rush its hard you need to be fast with hotkeys. Bu the basics are : 1 Make sure ur building are like a wall for yuumis or if neded build some walls 2 Villagers on food and shirines on gold and you train ashi when you can ( you call yuumi from home city) 3 If he cant stop you because of the yuumi and he fails back, you know he is coming with cavs. but the golden advice is the walls like buildings, the more protection you give to yuumis better it is. Bt pulling this out for me right now is hard, im not that good atm im slow with hotkeys im back in the city after a while hpe it helped.

Ive been doing a weird build order but it seems to do very well. First card 300 wood collect during transition chop 100 wood The combo is age 2 send spice trade into age 3 send 4 saigas shipment. It gives over 4000 food pretty consistently and i usually follow with 1000 coin age into 1600 coin Gives a huge mass around 12-16 minutes depending on how aggressively opponent is playing

Because China is a one trick pony after their age 4 card nerf. If you can't decisively win age 3, you are done.

Also China does worse in no TP maps like this one. For some reason they are the only civ with no access to alternative xp income the the whole game while also being very reliable on FF. Makes no sense.

The Asian Civs are still a mistery for me. I can somehow cope with the war chief expansion, but those completely different strategies surrounding the asian civs are confusing me.

Japan really needs to be nerfed. Shrine's offer too much control. Should be 150 wood at least. Ashigaru and Yumi are also too strong in their category (if im not mistaken, Ashigaru is the best musket unit)

China doesn't have nearly enough strengths and strategical variety to make up their drawbacks of being a slow to Age 2 but Age 3 reliant civ. Spain got logistician now, but what does China have to compare? Both are Age 3 centered yet China Age 2 is lacking. Flamethrowers cost 70% villager seconds of 1 Falconett and are a joke. Compare 3 Flamethrowers vs 2 Falconetts, thats roughly equal amounts of villager seconds in ressources. Flamethrowers need changes so badly to make Age 2 China a threat and a reason to be build in the first place.
