I'm all for it. I was in a gold 1.5-hour game where the japanese player made mega static defense in their base and tried ramming down both sides of my base with horsemen scattered everywhere. He chopped the whole forest down on his side of the map, and when he ran out of wood, I won. Rams shouldn't be the main attack force.

@@stidoxit happens played mountain clearing game 2v2 that lasted an hour because my ally quit ten minutes in, I as Ootd was able to secure eight relics by attacking one of the other players, it then became a slow grind between me and the other two guys which lead to me winning, and that’s a small map made for rushing and it lasted an hour.

I used men at arms and archers not horseman to counter zhuge nu and it worked pretty well

Frustrating game, so much for 2TC countering early aggression. OOTD has like 5 archers that each cost a hundred wood and 60 food only to get oneshotted by same amount of resource wise Zhuge Nu.

It was frustrating because he was in such a good position to easily win and just completely choked. Stopped making any units despite having the resources, didn't use his own villagers to fight, just throwing away horsemen for no reason. He deserved to lose for those mistakes.

I like that on most maps you can punish a standard boom with an all in. That said, I think the map is ugly.

I tried using the spirit way build around my archery ranges and didn't see any reductions in chu ko nu, has this been patched ?

That mechanic was removed more than a year and a half ago.

Wow. That was quite an all in. 2TC into fast castle isn’t looking sustainable in this patch with fans being cheaper. You need more units aside from villagers to defend now.
