I am with Lucky's dad here I played pass the parcel that way it was more exciting not knowing if you were going to get the last bit of paper off and win. The message here is about not always winning sharing the victory through others and being a gracious loser. I count this as one of my favorites in what has been the best season so far

At the Christmas party at my youth group we had something like Pass the parcel. We had a big ball of wrap with small presents scattered within the layers. The person with the ball starts unwrapping it. Just pulling it, no ripping. The next person has two dice. The first person unwraps until the second person rolls a double(both dice have the same number). They pass both the ball and dice down. If one of the small presents fall out while your unwrapping it, you keep it. And you continue until it's all unwrapped

Ppl on the Bluey Reddit have been thinking the song in the end of the episode is similar to "Listen to the Music" by the Doobie Brothers. we played something kinda like pass the parcel when I was in school. I think it was 6th grade (10/11/12 - I was 12) I don't remember the whole thing but it had something to do with us passing along different sized wrapped gifts to music. And I remember I won a candle making set (I was 12! lol). Other thing I remember was that the box I kept seeing go around was what I wanted and at one point I thought I would get a different one and was a little upset about it... but then I got the box I wanted (the candle making) but the box I *hadn't* wanted wound up to be a lava lamp and ever since I really wanted a lava lamp. ((Ironically a few years later a friend and I joined our birthday's together because we're three days apart and another friend gave us gifts - I got this lamp thing with lights and the friend sharing with me got a lava lamp. Our mutual friend even said she almost switch the gifts - lol)). I've heard of it before and always wondered how it worked like how are you sure you only unwrap one layer of paper? And not just tear into the entire thing to the main present?
