I am so impressed with Parker , his Grandfather taught him well about gold mining , but where I have noticed the huge improvement is his attitude, he has become very respectful , understanding , complementary and when he does let himself loose control and say things he shouldn't, he actually goes away , thinks about what happen and returns with apologies. That is a person who had to work hard not to be the A________e he used to be. And I believe his Grandfather would be more proud of him for those achievements than the gold he is getting. Great job everyone one in Parkers camp.

Having to remove 60 feet of dirt above any pay layer sure makes it difficult to make any profit. Seems to take millions of dollars to get to any small amounts of gold. The price of gold going up so much definitely helps pay for more fuel, labor and equipment.

PS: if you want to get that dredge going, we should chat. Got a plan to keep it running with some heat exchanger systems I designed a while back. Would love to see it in action

I would put a rubber mat on the inside on the bottom of the feeder and the weight of the product would keep it in place and the wet product wouldn't cause that big of a problem by sliding out the back end of it and plugging things up
@patrickstotler120111 ай бұрын
That would be Very hard considering the bottom of the feeder is the feed conveyor
@lukasbueckert980511 ай бұрын
@patrickstotler1201 no it wouldn't have you even ever worked around conveyors? Cause the rubber would prevent that problem if it's on the bottom and the inside of the feeder

Could probably buy 200 V belts for the $1700 they lost on the water pump belt. Unbelievable that they do not have basic spare parts and expensive pump engine does not have a $20 temperature overheat switch to shut pump down & sound an alarm. It would pay for it self if they would replace critical belts before every season. Preventive maintenance saves money.

I do not believe for one minute that people that find gold report an accurate count each and every time. Do they not have to pay taxes on that? On the flipside, the producers of the show paying these actors, could be showing more of a count than they actually find, just to keep it interesting
@patrickstotler120111 ай бұрын
I'm sure your right especially considering a majority of Americans cheat on their taxes yearly but yes they pay tax on it and it's usually around 34%!! So buisness owner's work hard to pay high taxes as some don't work at all but benefit from the social programs taxes support!! And it's guaranteed the Show fabricates the amounts found as with much more for ratings
