Tony in Australia we suspend the foot valve for the pump intake from floats about 5 feet from the surface. So there for we always have clear clean water.. this is not the first time you have had this issue with your pump intakes.

Hi. I am interested in your videos and love your work, but the frequency of the lengthy ads is very annoying. Do you have to show so many advertisements in one 30-minute video? I know you make a small amount of income for each ad, but I would be more likely to not press skip any if there weren't so many. There is a saying that applies to this that we frequently say around my part of the country - "Less is more." There have been three ads pop up while writing this short paragraph. Should have tack welded the pins on the deck. I’ve done it, helps solve some of the missing pins and slippage. They can be grinded down and removed

I know these guys make a lot of money with these videos, but doesn't it seem like they overdramatize all the problems for the suspense and viewer interest? Wouldn't it make more sense to concentrate your efforts and finances on preventive maintenance and daily routine inspections? It seems to me that most of the problems could have been spotted and corrected long before they even became a problem. The money spent would pay for itself with extended run time.

Yes I have to repair it and put it back to more of a natural state. It's called reclamation, and miners have to pay a bond, that way if they don't follow through with reclaiming the land the state can cash the bond. And the bonds are pretty expensive.
