@@FarrenMorganI’ve liked and subscribed just so I can get to watch the rematch. Hopefully in a UK based rematch you will be better acclimatised, that looked like a seriously long day of accumulating events in uncomfortable heat? Both you gents were absolute beasts! I kept thinking that old man Marc would tire as the day went on and that you would come storming back into the lead but it just didn’t happen. Still, you must be pleased with your efforts, I bet that you have found a gym to practice those rope climbs, technique goes a long way with those! Best of luck with your training, I look forward to the next round. Cheers from a South African living in London.

To be fair, your boy was at a big disadvantage in a hot envronment and his squats were much better. But you gotta take your hat off to a Sergeant Major (likely 40+) who can perform at that level. Royal Marine here , worked with seal team 10 , very good on the ranges , very good at CQB, but in terms of general soldiering in the field and being able to operate in the cold and wet weather they didn’t shine a light to us. They complained more , missed timings and essentially (for lack of a better word) failed an exercise we comprised for both teams to take part in. In terms of fitness , they were some big guys , very strong with the weights , and almost all of them were good at the self defence aspect of things as opposed to our blokes who most of which were novices other than a few. But when it come to yomping(walking with heavy Bergens or packs they call them) they wasn’t use to 100lbs+ Bergen as over miles and miles day after day. And when we did another casualty evacuation serial, with daysack type weight (30lbs a man) we arrived before them , completed the serial , and left before them. Again I don’t want this to sound like I’m shitting on them as when it came to skills and drills with weapons or CQB stuff they were head and shoulders above us. But when it comes down to being able to grit your teeth and put up with the shit and discomfort of it all , 9/10 we shined more so

@@FarrenMorgan I think the issue maybe UK does squats parallel to ground and US I think knees at 90 degrees. Knees at 90 is the same thing if the squat done properly with back lean forward for correct COG in bigger lifts but you can do a shallow 90 if you stick your backside out instead. Always should be filmed from the side. Exercise difference is even larger if you do bum out to make it really easy. It’s why his squats were so shallow given he was shorter. No point doing challenges if they are not adjudicated correctly.

Stone is such a stupid unit of measurement for weight lol. Like if I say my weight in stone, 14 stone 9 pounds, (205 lbs). So you still say pounds for an incomplete stone which is 14 pounds. So if it still uses pounds, might as well forgo the stone and just say it all in pounds so we don’t have to do math. Even my British coworker thinks stone is dumb haha.

@@discopotato675 You don't want to use pounds, miles, pints, inches, feet, and ounces? Welcome to the future. Well done. Wait! You just used pounds? That's Imperial. The metric version is kilos and is slightly over 2 pounds. edit: Wait! You just used miles. That's also Imperial. Do you know what Imperial is? Make the next match in the UK, in classic UK conditions, that'll be pretty interesting. To see a comparison, it may be made in locations one or the other may be more used to. Based on conditions or feelings. Although bias I must say the technique is much better by Farren over Mark. Finally we are comparing a current serving American soildier over a retired British soildier.
