Chasing Sunsets 4K // Mavic Air // Cinematic Drone Video

There is no more beautiful way to end a day than to chase a sunset, be mindful of time and color and light and meaning and nature, all in one gesture and time. In 4k!
But to find the perfect sunset is a difficult task, I am not even sure if there is such a thing as A perfect sunset. Seeing that each and every sunset is so beautiful filling the sky with amazing colors.
That wont stop me filming them and making some cinematic drone videos of the sunsets! The Mavic air provides excellent footage even flying against the sun.
I used Neat Video Plugin to deal with the noise and grain btw. it works very well, but is is very cpu and gpu demanding.
In this one I am at Fishermen Memorial in a place called Ferkingstad on Karmøy in Norway. The west side of Norway. This is a belltower that is raised in memory of the fishermen that got lost at sea in America when fishing. I also film a large white and red Lighthouse by the ocean as the waves crashes into the rocks by the coast.

How do you avoid noise in the mavic air? I always get a lot of noise on the dark areas when filming sunsets...

I also get noise, but you can use an addon to remove alot of noise in editing.

Hi. I use Polar Pro 16 and 8 in this one. Iso 100 filmed 30 fps with shutterspeed 60.

Congrats on 400 buddyo'! With many more to follow! I prefered the afterburn this time, after the sun had set. Some sort of late bloomer with beautiful colors. Agree with the waves. Can't go wrong with waves!

Exactly. Its up to each an everyone what the perfect sunset is i think. My idea of a perfect sunset has a layer with feather clouds like paint brushes in the sky, where every color is present hehe but the sky is also present. An maybe still waters so we get the reflections. Perfect conditions. Something like that. And I feel it needs to be at the ocean with interest in the foreground. What is your idea of a perfect sunset?

Swithced between 4, 8 and 16 depending on the different angles. Against the sun 16, no direct sunlight but that means dsrker foreground. Thank you very much :)
