Gloppedalsura // Drone Adventure Norway

Part 2 of the Drone Adventure.
Gloppedalsura was created 10,000 years ago
when the glaciers melted away from
the valley Gloppedal.
A big moraine demolished Hunnedalselva's
previous dam against Veen and Vikeså.
Frost and thaw processes suddenly got huge
amounts of blocks and stones to burst out
from the southern mountain side.
The rockslide left a 100 meter
thick layer of stone over the moraine
Gloppedalsura was created
Gloppedalsura is in Gjesdal and Bjerkreim in Rogaland Norway.

Almost expected some rock music to supplement the footage 😀 hehe. Beautiful footage. Especially that last scene mate. And a great choice of music as well. I missed that whole soldier story while I was out there. Very interesting.

Red so many stories from WWII about how partizans blocked many passes thru the canyon and had great impact on nazis plans! You are absolutely right the huge object shows beauty of area, thank you! Cheers from Colorado!!!VDN!

They used it as a fort, they bombed it also but they hold their ground. Using caves and mountains and canyons is effective. Also in Afghanistan where they hid in caves in the mountain. Almost impossible to win against that. Thank you very much Verdon 😃

Beautiful as well as educational!! Very creative to start the video with the history and titles about the location. Are you using a filter on your camera (not the drone)? There is some kind of haze or ghosting, I noticed this on your previous video also...I was wondering if this was a new creative touch, or some sort of unforeseen smudge on the lens.

Ye I have noticed that too. It is not intentional btw. I am careful onn having a clean lens, but it could off course be that. Earlier I had the camera under water, maybe some watervape? i dont know.. I was using a Polar Pro ND lens,was very bright this day so I think it was 16 actually. Regret not using 8 though, came out a little on the dark side. Really splendid again. It just gets better and better. I am camping with my camper van and so can only captured the video in 480. But even so it is stunning. Yes you will need that bonnet if you are going caving!
