Hello and welcome to my channel.
This is a 2-Part video, this I hope you'll find interesting, of my Austin Seven build.
In Part 1, I showed the rolling chassis I bought from Ebay, the strip-down, paint and build back up to a rolling chassis ready to put a custom body on, which is now shown in Part 2.
Any areas of the build you'd like to see more of please let me know in the comments as I have a lot more footage of this vehicle being built.
If you enjoyed this video please Like, Subscribe & Share and take a look at my other videos. Thank you for your interest, more to come soon!

Ive always been a fan of more modern sports cars but something really fascinates me about these little sevens. I love how simple they are are, like a reminder that we dont really need to build super complicated cars filled with all sorts of crazy tech. These are just as interesting, and figuring out how to get one started and drive properly with all the differences in pedal layout and starting is like learning a musical instrument

Absolutely! I think you pretty much summed it up in one there - as to why there is such a following with these, or indeed with any older automobile. There's the artistic engineering in them that's lost in a newer vehicle. I like that - "like learning a musical instrument", pretty much!

Fabulous demonstration of the skills involved in methodically bringing this to life . And ( and! ) a water shot for finale ( or for new beginning ). I don’t bother with a sound track , just love seeing the techniques and skill set out. Thank you very much

the video is good and the car looks great pity about that music could not wait for it to end

Yes... the music is a small issue I have due to only having limited choices. I've chosen worse background music so says my wife and at least most of my videos are 'view only'.

I am a new subscriber my friend. /I have to mirror the sentiments of the others in your comment section. You get so much done on this cool sports car every time that is it amazing. I am starting a project 1928 Morgan three wheeler with a GN(MGB rear) set of wheels . I wil be stretching fabric and spraying dope on it unless I can find an English wheel and learn real quick some skills..lol

Hi and welcome! Thanks for subscribing. Have you thought of using vinyl and a heat gun? It's a lot safer, no dope used and cheaper. I'm going to be putting up a video with this process in a few months.

@@swcreations Oh really? that sounds awesome. My fiancé' is a fashion designer for Victoria's Secret and Kohl's . She is the one who suggested the ceconite. She absolutely knows fabrics...lol I however as a PhD chemical engineer like anything that has to do with chemicals and dope...to coin a phrase. I am very interested though in the process that you spoke about and am looking forward to it with utmost sincerity. If it produces the same look as the airplanes of olden days then it is on the table. I would like to actually replicate the actual build at some point. this first one may have a steel tubular Frame for safety etc...

I really wish we had lots of Austins over here across the pond. I love the engineering . I am going to purchase an MGB engine and transmission tomorrow. Thursday I am going ot purchase a Honda Goldwing 1100 to cut the drive wheel out of and use for my Morgan. I have a bastardized Tigermoth/Onan opposed twin engine that I am using on the front of my replica build. I believe that look would be really cool. I am casting parts and a flywheel so that I can mount an MGB transmission to the engine and then use a drive line to the Goldwing drive wheel. I am so excited as are lots of other people. I am going to try and post raw videos from the build.

Nice fast build. Now that you have found the music button, don't wear it out! Also, it would be nice of you to give me the VOLUME control. THX.

Just jumped over to catch your channel from Oak Swamp. My initial reactions are not favorable as regards presentation. There is no attempt at engagement with the prospective or actual audience. Action is often out of shot, and we barely get any coverage of what you are doing, or what you are aiming for. This is meant as constructive criticism. I don't doubt your skills, just that the presentation could be so much better
