I think it looks really cool in the bare aluminium especially with the matt and polished contrasts - I'm sure it will look great in paint too though, fab work!

I’ve been in the motor trade most of my working life, 70 years old next February, but on the mechanical, side rather than bodywork/ fabrication, but I really enjoy watching your videos and hopefully learning from them, as I would say to apprentices… every day’s a school day, when you stop learning your dead 😂, thanks for your time and inspiration 👍👍🔨🔨

Greatly enjoyed, will be a stunning car. Would have been good seeing the video that didn't work to see how it didn't and wasn't working. Great looking homemade panel roller you made. Cheers Tom.

@@RR-mt2wp get what you mean but I really wasn’t worth my time editing it. I hardly make anything off the videos and all I wanted to do was just get on and put it right.

@@RR-mt2wp it’s about 10 hours editing per video plus all the extra time setting up the camera to film it all to make £15/20 per video. I definitely don’t do it for the money 😂 looking forward to the next steps!

liking the panel delineation. Going forward, I think people would enjoy a more detailed video on different aspects. We don't see many top class builders, so getting inside knowledge is invaluable

The Bedford CA and CF vans had nice shapes but I reckon they're going to be more rare than an Austin 7 lol. MG or Triumph maybe. Something built on a separate chassis might be easier, more flexible in design

Tom, great channel and great job. Your car is going to be so nice. I’ve recently saved an old Lagonda Saloon in pretty bad shape. Chassis, Alloy and Leather can be saved and I intend to save the interesting chassis and try and use as much of the WW2 surplus alloy on a Special. What’s your thoughts on recycling 40’s Aluminium. Can it be flattened into pieces of sheet mechanically or adapted on a wheel?
