This "electronic" music really comes to life with this live lineup, love the female backup singers. I wish I could still find their version of The Frail/The Wretched on You tube but it was taken down, the female singers really rocked that as well

The drummer does not miss a beat on just over 3min. It's called a break. Or a fill...even if nothing is in the fill except for a staccato bass drum pedal. Know your music before making wrong technical comments mate.

One the best concerts I've seen live is NIN and I've luckily done it a few times. I was glad to see Reznor on Austin City Limits. I've always wanted Nick Cave to appear on this show and I think he is this Oct. I could have swore I saw that posted.

Man just when you thought NIN were done (this quote circa 2013), they drop this album on us. Pretty Hate Machine is obviously a classic, not a weak song there. Then all the middle stuff seemed to either reach too hard or sound un-imaginative, but that’s me, and I’m a weirdo. But then With Teeth was excellent, and with Year Zero I put those two together as like a double-mid-to-late-career-let-it-all-hang-out and express yourself without worrying about record companies or fans kind of double album, even though they were apart by what, a few years? But both, awesome, sonically superior, and really good on the first listen, and all these years later they just keep growing on me. Then Hesitation Marks gets the first single drop, Came Back Haunted, and of all places I hear it on the local radio, and I RARELY listen to radio. It was meant to be. Otherwise, who knows how long before I discovered it? So iTunes puts it in my pre order thing, bam, great stuff, then the combo of Find My Way, All Time Low, Satellite, and Various Methods of Escape just might be,,,,,,well believe it or not, I’m at loss for words. Simply incredible, more honestly expressive than ever, and orchestrated like the accomplished artist that he is. The follow ups didn’t do it for me. Not bad, but you gotta follow this!? Good luck. Now if Massive Attack could follow up with another Heligoland, I might just melt. The new Carcass EP is the kind of 4 song slap in the cranium we all need, and reminds me to keep pushing on, it’s not over yet, you can always reaffirm your existence, and the future could actually be cooler than cool. New Gojira comes out April 30. Rock isn’t dead, all the music hasn’t already been played, and the future unknowns are the rewards for surviving today. I’m counting on it. Now about those various methods...........you can never REALLY escape, but you can live to see the next fight.
