A long line of kids have been a part of the Marching band but I don't think any of them ever had as much fun as this group of Austin High band members seem to be having.

I can't believe this happened a year ago. I was in this band playing bass drum in the very back. We were given 4 days notice and had one rehearsal the day before. I am proud to say that I was one of the few that signed that clock we gave them. I played cymbals the year before when we filmed big easy express and performed on fourth street with them. As for the keyboard problem, I was told that he had it set to transpose to a different key and it was apparently the wrong key. I had the time of my

I'm guessing that Ben couldn't really hear himself playing and then unknowingly hit some kind of transpose button on his keyboard. I can't imagine any other reason for which he'd be so perfectly out of key for that long without realizing it.

This was a highlight in the DVD BIG EASY EXPRESS! I’m not sure how long rehearsals took, but judging from the many trophies shelved in the background they must have gotten into the song pretty easily. As much as I love mf&s, it was actually their fault. The piano player was out of tune, not the band. The band is actually very good as far as HS marching bands go
