It's a pretty tough move to learn, because of the hesitation after the first cross, it's deadly when you learn it

LeBron has the same move but instead of doing it with a crossover he does it while he's running at you full speed. He'll double jab with his left foot then go right. But this is while he's running full speed though.

For sure. Step backs should be for 15 footers. At the NBA level, some guys could extend their range, but Curry is the only guy I'd feel comfortable with shooting step back 3's

Austin Rivers is in the fog, Landing in the same spot usually creates a brick. ever seen blake griffin shoot? it puts too much pressure on the shoulders. When he shot for real his feet easily landed way in front of where he was. This takes pressure of the shoulder and lets you shoot with further range. Austin Rivers is in the fog, He does this by second nature.

good looking hesitation (to ideally gain separation) Austin but that step back is going to be contested and since most guys don't shoot as well as you, I believe the next lesson should be how to push off that same step back into a counter cross to drive to the basket.... Great video though!

Rivers doesn't jump straight up and land in the same place when he shoots (and neither should you). His feet go forward making his shoulders go back (although not in a fade away motion) creating more arc on his shot.
