ASJ and Red Ranger forever, he was always the best. That's why the show fell after he, Thuy and Walter left. David, Amy and JDF carried it but once it was JDF only nobody cared as much. Power Rangers kept JDF around because it's their only link back to the first Power Rangers.

nope. jason beat goldar one on one but he couldnt get the green candle in time. thats why tommy lost his green ranger powers and then became the white one. but jason did beat both of them one on one and they tied each other in a tournaments with out the power ranger suits.

I can agree with others when they say that Jason was the better leader of the team. Tommy got boring by the time Zeo started, and had overstayed his welcome for sure by Turbo. Just a shame that Kat, Tanya, and Adam had to leave too because I think they still had a lot to give.

Honestly, looking back at Turbo, it was probably for the best the old team left and the new team came in. I don't think Jason, Catherine, Johnny, or Nakia wanted to be there anymore for the most part. The new actors refreshed the show. Those four were great at the end of MMPR and throughout Zeo though.

I sort of agree with you, but I would have preferred the Zeo era team remain unchanged until the end of PRIS, and then to the revolving door of cast changes for the post Zordon era. I think it would have had more meaning since Tommy and Jason’s team had put in the most work defending the Earth, going through endless trials and tribulations and it would have been a good way to say goodbye to their characters.

WTF kind of question did the interviewer ask? Totally vague and putting him on the spot. "Can we put an end to all the rumors of you and other ex-veteran rangers about all this beef, can we put an end to all these rumors?" ASJ answered like a pro and didn't wade into unsubstantiated rumors. It's as if the interviewer didn't want to fully ask the question while at the same time trying to extract some revelation from him.

People dont realize that the Green Ranger was a fluff character for that show. He made cool entrances that was basically it. Once Jason and company left the show. Power Rangers began its decline. Jason David Frank was cool, but he never did quite carry the show or lead the rangers like Austins character did. When Austin said "Its Morphin Time!" you fuckin believed it. Also i remember when JDF was talking about him during interviews, i found it odd that Austin never answered and never had anything to say. He was just out living his life and not trying to be a 3 ring circus. When i found out last year that basically all this crap talk was going on while Austin was basically doing EMT work in the middle east. I lost a lot of respect for JDF. Your shitting on this dude and he was across seas in the grit and grime being a real hero. smh

+insanity23mike apparently, 20 years ago when they were on set, ASJ was a "big talker" about his fighting skills (said he once killed a guy in the ring), JDF got tired of his talk and told him to back it up, ASJ declined, JDF called his bluff, and problems between the two continued up until ASJ's departure from the show. That's the basic story gathered from what little either party said about it. Since then, it looks like ASJ has long since let it go, while JDF still holds a grudge. I heard a rumor (I don't know if this is true or not) that JDF played a part in the quitting/firing of ASJ, Walter Jones and Thuy Trang. When they were unhappy about their pay and wanted to talk to Saban about more money, JDF allegedly told David Yost and Amy Jo Johnson not to get involved. Thus 3 Rangers stayed and 3 Rangers left. Again, that part is a rumor, take it as you will.

When u look at all the other power ranger series uk the red ranger is the leader but in mmpr once Tommy bursts on the scene and becomes a good guy u can slowly see the transition that they r focusing on the green ranger being the leader and not the red but once he was the white ranger o now he is the leader jdf is OP in mmpr they did Austin wrong by doing that because when u think of mmpr u think of jdf as the guy who lead the team but for me it will always be Austin st John as the better ranger and leader for the team red ranger for life !!!!!

Intersting fact of the day, had austin stayed, he would have still been the leader. He left because of money so they chose to make tommy the leader which makes sense. In the next couple of episodes after tommy is made leader, jason still gives the morphing call with tommy present. It REALLY makes you wonder how the series would have gone had he and trini and zack stayed.

***** I don't think JDF has anything against ASJ, but I do think JDF is bad at getting his point across. For example, JDF posted on his facebook and 2013 that they were both pretty good friends, and I would believe so. I personally just think that JDF likes to fight people he sees are good at martial arts, and he never got a chance to fight ASJ, so he jokes around a bit with it. It's also known that JDF likes to take jokes too far a lot of the time, so there's that as well.

I think that there is a possibility that you may be right however even if it is, that is the way a matured adult answers that kind of a personal question especially after SO MANY YEARS. I don't know, I can admire JDF's dedication to his fans but from what other cast members say about him I can tell he was(maybe still is) one of those annoying teaser/prankster types that get upset & hurt when you don't laugh or submit to their jokes or pranks or if you're just better than them.
