You have a very nice garden. Have you tried to grow an avocado tree from the pit of the avocado? Just put it a day in some water and after that in a pot with some sand that you use for growing seeds and it worked for me. You need some patience. I live in northen Europe so it should grow in Texas. I also had stevia plants maybe they grow also in texas. And if you like flowers the frangipani are beautiful and they smell very nice. Unfortunatly it’s to cold to grow them were I live I’ve tried but they didn’t survive the cold weather.

yesss, avocadoes are a great idea. next on my list. i will try frangapani next year - I see them sold in the store. they do very well here and so beautiful. also ginger and turmeric do ok and also beautiful
