hi😊 how to set up my format in table of access, if my file in excel has field which is repratedly, and which is not allowed in access. Code Description Jan to dec (2015) jan to dec (2016) jan to dec (2017) my excel has evry month allocation, and evry year, and I need to get the total amount per year, how to set up my table in access?, thank you so much😊 can I import my excel file?, or do I need to arrange it in what way?

please study more in Data Type in Access first at :support.office.com/en-us/article/Introduction-to-data-types-and-field-properties-30AD644F-946C-442E-8BD2-BE067361987C Code should be Text data type Description = Memo Jan to Dec should be Date data type and can be set to a field name like SaleDate Then you can use a query to to get amount for certain year.
