Are you sure that those work speed passives work for mining? I have a perfect anubis (artisan, lucky, work slave and serious; +50 +15 +30 and +20% respectively) and it mines just as fast as an anubis that doesn't have any boosting passives. But on the other hand, work speed nerfing passives seem to affect mining. Just wanted to know if I bred like 300 anubis for nothing 😅

ATTENTION!!!! Digtoise is currently bugged and only does 1 damage per hit to ores in base and struggles to break ores. He's still works and is fantastic if you use the collar following you around.

I don't think it's a bug, it totals about as much damage as other pals, maybe a bit slower depending on the actual total. Even if you brought it up to 2 per tick, it'd vastly be stronger than every other mining pal, and he's already the best miner in party. Edit: it got increased to 2-3 damage per tick, so it does a ton of damage in base

Honestly digtoise is so fucking overrated like even his partner skill only works on 1 node so even if he's broken the node he just stays there spinning until the skill goes on cooldown. I've found rushoar to be better for active mining

... just spreading the word around in case anyone doesn't know but, the Rushoar is actually the best and fastest Miner i've discovered so far. His only Requirement is that you craft his mount because you need to be riding him as he uses his Reckless Charge attack. So it is going to take a bit of team work here. ... three of these charges on a large clump of Ore will destroy it completely, netting you chunks of the ore at a time. Just be aware of how quickly you will gain weight! ... a few tips regarding using him this way to optimize and speed up production. ... the lag is very long after he is finished with the attack and also, he will charge far away from the ore you are working on if you just let him GO, so holding the dismount button toward the end of the charge, will eliminate that lag and you will have to hold it again to remount, which allows you to start up the next charge immediately. It takes some elbow grease here and a bit of precise timing and accuracy to optimize but if you get REALLY good at this, you'll be looking at about 10 seconds per Ore Deposit. ... some other ore deposits like Sulfur and Coal only need two Charge Attacks. ... and if you are in an area loaded with Ore Deposits among other kinds, you can actually kind of pinball into multiple with one Reckless charge, if you line him up correctly. I have only nailed up to three at one time. I actually find this kind of fun like a mini game. Lol. ... this method has me cleaning an area loaded with deposits in just a few minutes and then I move on to another area. But this only really works for you if you have high weight capacity. ... Hope this helps!

I love Palworld and it's a lot of fun but holy hell i literally can't count how many times it crashes for me on xbox s every day, i'm not joking it's really bad, can't do dungeons without it crashing every time i try enter them or play in them for like 30 seconds. The switch would have to be on the lowest settings and since it's more shit than xbox i really doubt it could handle it well

I would like to add some notes on Work Speed: - Work Speed can greatly increase Mining and Logging.... but only at the Stone Pit and Logging Site. - So Work Speed will have essentially NO effect on Mining Ore, Coal, Sulfur and Pure Quartz (and normal Rock formations outside of the Stone Pit)...... - Note that Damage Passives, like Work Speed, have no affect when Pals are Mining or Logging either (not that this was suggested to be done in the video, but it of course means any negative ATK traits won't affect their mining abilities). - Work Speed will also not affect Breeding or Farming, as well as Transportation. This has nothing to do with this video, but just covering it all I guess? - Work Speed does cover all other jobs pals do though, so that's nice. Does this mean that the Work Speed gotten on the Anubis is wasted? NO. Mainly because Anubis is stupidly good at Handicraft with its base level 4 that can be upped to level 5 through the condenser. However it does mean that the Work Speed trait buffs will have no affect on its Mining or Transporting ability and if you goals was to increase this through Work Speed, you're out of luck. Thus possible good traits to get on an Anubis would be: - Work Speed specifically for Handicraft - Movement Speed to just get them around even faster (from node to node, to their bed, transporting their own ore and the like, less down time in other words) - Hunger and Sanity Reduction traits, as that means less time needing to eat or recuperate in the resort.

Another breeding combo i like to use for anubis is Tombat + Sweepa. Tombat is available very early in the game as long as you take the time to explore after dark. Sweepa is found in the bamboo area right outside the small desert where you get digtoise. Sweepa is also available as an early alpha boss on an island right next to the southern spawn island.

I chain breeded to get the lvl 4 miner, astegon. Big, yes, but if you remove majority of your obstacles, then they are hands down the best option for clearing the ore/coal base location. Toss a few helzephyrs in our killamari and you'll have a day and night constant ore and coal processing facility.

Hello, although this video is 10 days old, I just found it and thought I would talk about something including digtoise (at base only), digtoise while at base does nowhere near the damage to the ore that he does while in party with headband. I’ve seen a video testing that and seeing that digtoise is bugged and mines about as much ore as mining level 2 pals, and quite a bit less than his lvl 3 mining piers reptyro and Anubis. So while in party digtoise is among the best, he is nowhere near as good as a base pal. Also there are breeding combinations for astegon (one of the mining level 4 pals) such as grizzbolt+orserk. (Orserk can be bred with grizzbolt and relaxaurus) Sorry for this long comment but I just thought I would say this so more people can know.

If you do any testing at all, you'll realize Digtoise is only good as a replacement for Pickaxe if you have it in the party. It does literally nothing in the base. It just spins in place doing 1 damage. Tombats with lvl 2 mining will actually beat the output of Digtoise by a mile (about 4x more). If you aren't present at the base, Digtoise don't even dig, just eat. You'll come back and find 0 work done. Worse, if you have 1 competent miner with a few digtoise, they'll destroy the ore deposits, which, when they respawn, will lift the damn useless tortoises and get them stuck on top. So just get Tombats from lvl 10 in the starting zone. They will do all the work until you breed anubises or reptyros. Late game you can replace them with the Blazamuts, as those are the only thing that beats out Anubis and Reptyro. I's STILL gonna use Anubises though cause the big lads get stuck on EVERYTHING

U can get anubis by like lvl 15 by breeding bushi and penking by fighting the bosses but if u want u can get those two by flying to the volcano and pickong up eggs for bushi and getting eggs for penking in the beginning area

tombat can spawn as low as lvl 8 which makes it somewhat unreliably so, but still the earliest lvl 2 miner you can get, still kind of butt to catch with basic spheres though edit: for anyone struggling to get a beegarde, try putting a tanzee and a melpaca into the breeder and you will get your honey production that way

You forgot the (in my opinion) best breeding combo Sweepa and Tombat Sweepa is a level 11 boss so easy to catch if you use a Foxparks Huggy Fire you will be fine and tombat can be found early around level 10 so that saves time trying breed out glutton and catching relaxuras

You can get tech points from dungeon drops. There's never a moment where you're soft-locked in that regard. But it still helps to be a bit selective. My advice is just unlock techs that you think you want. I've never ran out (still have too many points), but if you somehow do, run some dungeons and you're fine.

He commented that you actually want to focus on attack stats for mining. I wouldn't know if that's true or not, without testing it. But it shouldn't be to hard to take a lvl 1 anubus and a high level one.

I made a huge mistake adding stone pit and lumber yard to my ore base and was confused why i had to mine ore. Pals focus the stone/lumber which hold 3 pals each. I had exactly 3 mining pals and 3 lumber pals so trees and ore never got touched. Removed the stone/lumber and i didn't touch a pickax until i needed to go find sulfer for gunpowder.

One thing though about digtoise that I assume is a bug when assigned to the base they only do 1 damage to the ore with their spin so they are a waste of food and time if not in the party with the headband until that changes

If you die, can't you respawn by the Dumud and activate the waypoint? Even if you have inventory drop on, you can fast travel back and get your stuff then come back and get Dumud.

Good news, is if you are playing single player, there is a whole host of customization available for the settings. Such as drop rate, stamina depletion rate, XP gain, etc. If you feel like you are grinding too much, change the settings. Feel like you are flying by things too fast, change the settings.

Like, it said they were starting to breed, but then I will walk away to start something else and when I come back, one will be gone from the breeding area.
