A quick and fast way to get auto build is go to the great sky island shrine for the ability to create. Walk down to the steps by the waterfall and jump off in the direction of the great plateau and then simply jump down into the chasm there. Look around for the roller coaster and you’ll be taken right to it.

To go through the gloom, just fuse the sled device to your shield and you can slide right on through all the gloom areas like they’re sand or snow

For the last part: There's also a Refinery right outside of Lookout Landing on Hyrule proper. So you don't have to head all the way up, but it might not be there at the very beginning. edit: It's the big chunk of land right outside the north exit.

I found auto build completely by accident before I got the camera. I was exploring a sky island, jumped off and saw the chasm on the great plateau, fell into it, found the mine that’s right there, followed the mine tracks and just ended up at the auto build area

I'm not sure if you know but if you hold R and then up on D-pad you can throw items. So instead of using an arrow for the brightbloom seeds you can just throw them.

Yeah but shooting with bow is more accurate and you can throw further too, but ye for me I'd rather manually throw them instead, arrow in this game is too valuable to waste this way.

Just a note - your minimap provides coordinates of your location whether or not you've illuminated the area. For example, the Miner's Armor you showed is at (-1072, -0555, -0521).

I came across the Auto Build on accident last night. Fought the Yiga boss twice, once after getting the ability, then again after wandering around for several hours and ending up under the Gerudo area(based off location name). It was a slight annoyance fighting with only 4 hearts and 1 stamina wheel but it is what it is.

Also something I found out about the gloom today. Shield surfing prevent being affected by gloom. This also works with any vehicles. I don’t know how useful that is but might be something to look into

There are Stalkoblins and Stalhorses in the depths too, the horses are unaffected by the gloom so you can ride them on it safely as well.

Using a cart shield or any type of shield with reduced friction, it seems stalhorse is not necessary for efficient gloom travel. Shield surfing over gloom has pretty much allowed me to get wherever I have needed to be without having to deal with gloom damage.

i love the depths. i use a fully upgraded set of gaiters of the depths for gloom resistance on the ground and from enemies. i even use a 40 base damage weapon that hurts me with gloom, so i fuse a shard of light to any weapon so that i heal when hitting anything, like enemies and ore deposits. have a ton of skateboards with a light on front for traversal, and speed buffs of course. if you dont speed buff you can also use a tier 3 glow elixir. anyone wanting to take on the depths if you have these things youll be unstoppable. will answer any questions :)

I don't know if you already know this (you probably do considering how many hours you already put in this game), but you don't need to attach items to an arrow every time you want their effect. Just hold R then Up to throw an item like you throw a weapon. It's faster and save your arrows when throwing lightbloom seeds.

Another tip for people wanting to improve your battery quick: if you don't have enough small/large zonaite (or don't want to wait at the forge construct), it's better to farm whatever bosses you find in the underworld. (Considering you're experienced enough to beat them, but honestly with a bit of practice it's okay even with 4 hearts). They drop a ton of crystallised charges upon death even the easy ones like Hinox. It's great while you're exploring the depths, looking for Lightroots to also do that. Plus you'll probably need their parts to upgrade armour.

You can actually just toss the seeds to get light (if you don't need it to go far ofc). It saves arrows that way and some people might be in need of those :P

Instead of wasting your arrows when you need brightbloom seeds, you can just use the controls that would throw your weapon in hand and press up on the d pad and you can just throw the brightbloom seeds, they dont go as far as arrows but its good for when your running low
