Again, I am very impressed. I could never figure out to tune the strait pipe so precisely as you guys have, so I might have to use your design in the future. I didn't actually have a specific angle in mind for the bells, I just found a decently curved shaped mold and just worked form there. Unless you get on the forums with real diehard horn enthusiast, I dont think you'll be able to find what curved radius the horns are formed to (I dont think that information is listed anywhere...I've look). I also really like your air valve, I hope you do a video covering that some day. I'm working on a more compact design for the main horn housing but I'm running into a lot of snags, I'll upload a video when I get a decent result. Keep up the great work, I learn something new from every video.

WOW ! my friend, this is a very impressive video, and very good sounding horns. Thanks for the mention and the nice comments. I'm glad to have been a part in the process of your designs. That's what these videos are for, to inspire. You have done a great job. Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to seeing many more videos from you. Big respect from Virginia.

I see you guys are still using Plexiglas/poly for your diaphragms. I started out using plexi for diaphragms when I first started making horns and it worked ok when I was just building and experimenting in the garage like you guys are doing. However when I actually mounted the horns on a vehicle and started using them daily I found the plexi didn’t hold up. For my 2” and 3” horns I now make my diaphragms out of hobby metal “K&S .015 Brass sheets” and found that it holds up a lot better and unlike the plexi that I was constantly having to replace after a couple weeks of continuous use, now when I get a ring in the brass from the nozzle I just buff it out with some 0000 steel wool and throw it back in the horn. You guys might want to give it a try!!!

AWESOME Videos Gentlemen!! You have put a great deal of research, time and effort into producing these. Are your air valves in this video available for purchase retail or are they custom made? I REALLY like these!!

Austin. I have a question for you or your dad. Why do you use straight pieces of the rubber instead of a complete round gasket like you made in this video for the piece between both diaphragms? Is it important to let air by the first diaphragm? Thanks. This a great project and I am trying to build one for the boy scouts. So the scouts can learn something about music, and mechanical engineering. It covers so many topics. Thanks for taking the time to share. Doug

Hi guys, love your videos. Have a couple questions for you. 1) You are always talking about how important the rubber is that you use. Could you tell me where you found it? The only thing I have found is Frost King sponge rubber weather stripping is that it? 2) I'm currently working on a three horn and eventually a five and really like your your brackets. Do you have any diagrams you could share? 3) I also noticed in the video your air throttle or pull for lack of a better term. Did you guys make these, if not where did you get them? Thanks for any help you can give me. Happy Thanks Giving Keith

At 4:45,I'm unclear as to what you are adjusting to make one bell open before another? If you are unscrewing the main body, doesn't it make the tone change? The top of the video is chopped off,so I can't see what you are turning.Thank You!

How to make manual valve train horn....? Like this

Have you ever wondered which frequencies to use to make people involuntarily lose water? Try a nest of horns tuned to these frequencies. The trick is to use elbows, to make the pipe as long as you wanted it and try to manage it. I know they say, you can't hear certain frequencies but, if you mix them together, that's all different. Just to be honest, use a frequency counter. So, grab a horn for each frequency because, this makes a noise. scontent.fsjc1-3.fna.fbcdn.net/t31.0-8/13576736_1062700333766863_4993905756802271030_o.jpg
