Thank you for this. I live near Copperas Cove. It took 4 years for my Elberta to produce fruit only to have brown rot. I planted them near our septic system and not sure if this is the problem. I want to plant new ones in another area and want to know the best varieties for my area. Thank you

I’ve got a rio grande peach tree in my backyard here in Houston, Tx. and it is alive, but has no foliage. Is this because we had a very mild Winter and the temps only dropped to 45 or lower for a few days?

I might understand the chilling hours better if you may have mentioned USDA growing zones.
