That's my gripe for kobe. He lived his life on 110% and now it would be his best years on a personal level. Kids growing up, setting up his bussiness no stress and then the accident. Also, Jordan trained super hard and to be honest that is what is most impressive, that he partied all the other time and still his level was unreachable. Kobe suprassed his...lack of physical charisma (on a super athlete level, not that he didn't have tons of it himself) with more and more and more. His trainer was Jordan's trainer. He said (a very interesting video) that he had to train kobe to do less in order to preserve himself. That video is sincerely very very good.

Kobe def worked harder than anyone including Jordan since he wasn’t as genetically gifted as other legends. He said it himself. Source - “Kobe’s Last Great Interview”

Pistol Pete would probably have given him a run for his money.

Kobe will always be my hero. Not because he could make a shot at the end of the buzzer, but because of all the work he put in to make his goals a reality.

I feel like a lot of people forget it’s not just interviews and magazines that come with being a basketball player it hours of practice, and Kobe spent his time working hard and was the last one to leave the court. Not saying other players don’t do that though.

Watching Kobe vs Tim vs Yao vs Kevin, all my heroes but one goes to heaven earlier than the rest still broke my heart.
