Walk of Life (Dire Straits cover), Austin Ukulele Society

At our January 12, 2023 meeting, we kicked off the new year by learning to strum, pick, and sing an upbeat tune: Dire Straits' "Walk of Life." This 1985 song was a chart-topping hit in the UK and the US. It's a timeless song that continues to get tons of airplay and serve as an anthem for the beauty of life.
A big cheer for all the folks who strummed and sang with so much energy and enthusiasm!

Hey Bob. I used your new app box to download the lyrics, chords, and tabs, and also your exercises and drills. This helps me tremendously. I have been playing a uke for almost 8 years. I was a member of a uke group in my town for several years. I learned as much as I could there. I am so very glad AUS is on KZbin so I can sing along!
