Back in 1988 My daughter was burned in a house fire. She was flown to Shriners hospital in Boston for treatment. While driving to the Hospital, I played this song over and over again while fighting back tears. To this day I can't listen to this song without tearing up. My daughter now has a Doctorate in Physical therapy and just received her Masters in Hospital Management !

I'm so sorry for your loss. My world fell apart when I lost my grandad. I held his hand 3 days and nights as he slipped away. We' kept him in the house he built when he immigrated to the US. I was a teenager when I brought home a Dire Straits cd. When I was playing this song, my dad told me to turn up the volume. Ever since, this was one of my dads favorite songs that came from my music collection instead of the other way around. Hubby and I entered our wedding celebration to this song.
