Matthews was also a better goal scorer than McDavid in the regular season until this year, but ever brought the same amount of goal scoring into the playoffs. Tkachuk is more clutch than Matthews in the playoffs too.

Tkachuk had 3 gwg against Carolina in the 3rd round and back to back overtime winners that series too. 2 goals in the elimination game too. Clutch is more important than scoring all of your goals in the 1st round and still losing 6/7 series lol. Like I said, 7 seasons in and 0 goals in the 2nd round for Matthews. 0 goals in 5 game 7's. 1 goal in 7 elimination. Matthews has zero clutch in the playoffs, which is funny because Matthews is pretty clutch in the regular season. Auston " first round" Matthews.
